Personally, I don't like seeing blood in ALL the meat that I eat. I always have mine well-done. If I was served with anything less than what I have ordered, I will have it replaced. I don't know why, but I always lose my appetite when i see blood dribbling down my food.

Well I only really like it grilled, and I always order it well done ,and I have the same issue as you, any blood or pink and I feel like tossing my cookies. I would rather eat steak burnt than mushy and pink, blah! Grilled well done steak is really the best ever!

If I am having one of my 'cravings', I am normally vegetarian, specifically two days before that dreaded cycle a fixation for iron or hemoglobin (usually medium-rare)is required so I will ask for my hamburger or steak (not likely, but I have been known to consume one or two in the last 5 years) to be medium-rare.
But geuss what ? After not having any beef or red meat for almost three weeks, last week we decided to go to Bob Evans and I asked for it medium rare and they said, no way absolutely NOT ! I was horrified, s--- if I am going to crave this stuff, let me eat it my way. Well, new rules delivered by OSHA, No blood shall be seen juicing from the prepared slab ! Therefore, it shall be well-done, tasteless and not allowed to even reveal pink.
Well, at least it was smothered in onions, cheese and mushrooms !

I like my steak to be medium well. In this way, it would be reasonably well cooked on the outside and slightly pink on the inside, therefore retaining its tenderness.
I feel the same as you do. Any thing less cooked would be a little too bloody for me and I don't really like the sight of blood oozing out from my steak. Even the sight of pinkish coloured juices oozing out from my steak is too much for me.
Well done would mean that my steak would become too tough and lose that tenderness that we associate with steaks.

I prefer to eat my steak medium well. I like for it to have a touch of pink because I think the steak is more tender that way. There isn't any blood but is a little pink. My brother on the other hand loves for his steak to be cooked 3 minutes on each side. It is still has bloody. That is just nasty.

i love steaks which are well done, too. i hate seeing blood... even a small amount of it. whenever i see blood in it, i ask the waiter to get me something which is well done. and luckily, after being served with the second plate, my order's finally right.

I have to agree with KissThis. I like my steak medium with a little pink. I do think it makes the steak a little more tender and it actually does add flavor. I mean, I don't want it getting up and moving off of my plate, but a little pink is atually apetizing to me. I guess it is my carnivore side coming out.
