The question is not whether Dravid should have been replaced but the question can we replace Dravid! Just take a look at the Indian team for a minute, if not Dravid then who? We have no options. Ganguly cannot be made captain because though he was a good captain, his batting really sunk in that period, all he wanted to do is to sit and give orders so we don't want that again. Sachin has already made it clear on numerous occasions that he doesn't want the captaincy. Sehwag has been miserably out of form for the last year or so. Had he been in good form, sehwag would have been a strong contender for the captaincy. Yuvraj just came out injury before the world cup and even he is not in the best of form lately. Dhoni is too young on the international arena to be considered for the helm. Even the part-time bowlers have taken more wickets than Harbhajan Singh and he also doesn't look the bowler that once terrorized the Australians. Besides, he is very temperamental character and perhaps not suited for the captaincy. Agarkar has been around for a long time but he can't even guarantee his own place in the side so how can expect him to guarantee victories. Apart from these players, all others are either youngsters or are not suited for the job of captaincy. Thus, no matter how much we don't like it, we will have to put up with Dravid being the captain. Let's just hope everything will fall into place and India will get back to its winning ways....soon.

Yes, he should have been replaced considering he is definitely not a good captain, he always bends to the words of senior players and does whatever they ask and he don't have any personal opinion or instincts in the team and he is also not good on the field by changing fields or placing fielding which is nonconventional or changes any bowlers and he does everything on a sequence like a machine and no creativity also.

No , I dont think Rahul must be resplaced. We have good captain in ganguly, we should remember that ganguly lost his form when he was the captain. Also a few years back Sachin Tendulkar was also Indian captain.He was also out of that time. The only reason they lost their form was that because they cant handle the pressure as dravid. So for now i think is the right candidate for the indian captian.
