Lets play a housework/Mylot game!

This is a great way to do the chores and also get your postings up on Mylot.
What you do is you write a list of the chores you need to do today. Then, you go and do one, then come back and make 5 posts on Mylot. Then you do your next chore and come and post a discussion. Keep doing this til your list is done and you will have made loads of posts and started loads of discusions, plus the chores will be done without you getting worn out!
I'm off to sort out the clean laundry then I will be back to do five posts, see you in a few minutes!

I already try this. I find MyLot so addictive but the housework needs to be done. Using the computer a lot makes my eyes tired too. Also it gives me time to think about which type of subject I would like to look at next or what I should put in my reply. I work during the weekday evenings so tend to do the housework on Saturdays which is today. So bye, I need to do the hoovering.

This is working well for me today, I'm just having a spot of lunch whilst I think up my next discussion topic.

It is a good idea to make you motivate on your housework,may be i can try it later when I am cleaning my bedroom ,I may be able to clean the room for few hours at the same time posting and replying in mylot.Or may be I will do the cleaning everyday since i will be on mylto everyday.

I find it works really well, it keeps you moving and also means you don't sit at the computer for too long at once.
I've done my chore now, so 5 posts and I'll be back doing my next discussion posting.

Do I have to??? It is saturday. That is a day off isnt it???

Clean bathroom
Clean bedroom
That is more than a days job in each of those rooms. So now I will be busy.

Break it down into little jobs, so clean the loo, then come back and post, then do the sink, and post again, that way you get lots of little rests and still get the jobs done

That's a pretty cool idea. I have to pull myself away from the computer for other things as well. I have been doing the "on again, off again" thing here at mylot... forcing myself to get stuff done. It is addictive and I hate housework anyway.

From one Nancy to another, thankyou for the super idea aobut managing housework and Mylot. Since I,ve discovered mylot , i have had trouble pulling myself away from the PC. I'll have the set the timer

Ok, let's see, I need to finish cleaning the bathroom (Clean bamboo out of bath tub)
I need to drag in another bag of firewood and put more wood on the fire.
I need to start making dinner.
I need to get lunches packed and clothes laid out for tomorrow.
I need to feed the animals.
I need to hang the wet laundry and put away the dry laundry.
Shoot, it is already 3 PM here, I wish I had seen this post earlier, because most of my chores are already done!

Well, that sure is a good way to split up your time between house work and myLot! :)
But I seem to always get stuck with...just one more.
Of then I start opening windows for other discussions that I want to respond to and next thing you know, my IE is shutting everything down because I have overwhelmed the tabs. LOL Very frustrating! ha ha
But I do try to throw in a bit of laundry or cleaning the kitchen between doing responses on myLot. :)

This is exactly what I have been doing today and I done it before I read this post. I have a lot of outside work that I want to do since it is 75 degrees and the sun is shining and it is an absolutely gorgeous day here in Indiana. I came home from work,done some posts, then done dishes, then more posts, then put new screen in the clubhouse for the kids, then more posts, next I will bake a pie, more posts, and maybe work in the flower beds. That is alot of work and then I am grilling pork chops for supper.
I get some much needed work done and some money made on here.
