nancygibson Its important to find out why you are losing hair first. Have you spoken to your doctor to check that you don't have stress or alopecia or anything else that makes your hair fall out?

When I buy soap for clothes, I always open the ca and smell it because I don't only look at what the smell it says on the bottle; I like to use fabric softener first because it does soften the clothes and second it smells so nice...

nancygibson I think many of the washing powders or liquids in the shops smell terrible, really artificial, but some smell really nice. Like you I like to smell them all to find out which is worth buying.

nancygibson I've tried so many hair stylists I can't even think how many ways my hair has been over the last year. Its really short now, so I hope I can go a while without needing to go to a salon.

nancygibson Ravelry is wonderful, I find it hard to imagine how I managed before it, its just such a great pace to compare yarns and patterns and share projects. I'e done pretty well with pattern sales through it as well.

nancygibson have you looked the kit up on Ravelry? There are usually dozens of examples there of how other people's versiones of any given pattern or kit came out and that might help you determine what yours might look like, even if you decide to use a different pattern...
