Don't you hate it when your professor uses a totally different textbook than the one that the college assigns? I went to the bookstore today, expecting the bookstore to have the book. I brought the book because the label indicates the exact section of the class w/ the same teacher that im taking. When i went to the class, i realized that he uses a different book! OMMMMM GRRR!! Now i have to return the book ASAP to get a full refund and order it online because the bookstore don't have the one that the professor insists on using. .....And of course it's going to take a week or so before the book actually arrives (I'm not gonna pay more money for EX. Shippping)

That really is annoying especially since students already need to pay so much money for college textbooks. The professors really should tell the us ahead of time

he did tel us the first day of the class...but you know how some ppl, like me, buy books ahead of the time so that i can get my hands on the 'used books'....the problem is he's not using the book the school assigns for that class...it's ridiculous....(the good thing is...a lot of students complained, so he announced that it was okay for us to use the other book if we had purchased it already..) :P

Most tutors provide a book list with the ISBN of the books you need to make sure everyone uses the same version when its going to be important that all the class have the same thing. Some classes it doesnt matter so much, but if it was critical he really should have told you in advance.

yeah..they do provide those info. on the syllabus, which the prof hands out during the first class..BUT, how my school's bookstore works is that they have the "used books" available for students for a cheaper price...obviously i want to get my first dip on the "used ones" (expecting that the label that indicates the class sect. w/ the teacher 'should' be the set of books that the teacher is going to use....Not the case this this prof. that im having (first time that it happend to me!!!!!!!!)

i totally agree with you, I, myself is also currently a college student and i just hate it when profs do that or when they ask their student to go and research for our own notes in the library instead of just reading the textbooks that is assigned by our college. gosh! its so annoying.. :(

Yeah!!! that's another thing to....i hate research paper that i don't know where or how to start!!!!.....For me, going to the library is just extra work for me......and of course im a 'lazybug'
