As long as you are a healthy adult with no immune disorders, eating raw egg is fine. Eating raw egg is dangerous, however, to children, the elderly, or those people with preexisting immune-related diseases. If your body is healthy, the worst thing that could happen is you would get a mild complication from salmonella. Uusually this just means a sore throat. I think if you boil the egg for something like one minuted it is considered "pasturized" and safe to consume. This is how I make my eggs safe when making cesar salad dressing.

Yeah, I do boil my eggs for about a minute or so. So I guess it's safe then. Thanks!

I eat raw eggs everyday with milk and I have been doing that for a while and I don't think I have had any health problems because of it. Its a really good source of protein.

With milk? Like, you eat the raw egg and drink milk to go with it, or you put the raw egg in the milk? I know this guy whose even weirder than me. He puts a raw egg in his juice and drinks the whole thing.

Yes, I put the raw eggs in a glass full of milk then stir it a bit and drink it. That's what all body-builders in our region are told to do. But the fellow you are talking about who puts eggs in his juice, wow!, that really is weird. I wonder how many people in the world would be doing something that weird, not many I guess.

I was always told that eating raw eggs can make you sick. I think it is called salmonella poisoning. But I eat cookie batter all the time and it has raw eggs in it. I've never gotten sick from it. I did a little research on it and this is a site I came up with.

I used to eat raw eggs then I stopped when a friend of mine told me that we can catch some kind of bacteria from it. Now I cook them especially in omelets in the morning. I have eggs every other day for breakfast.

the bad thing on eating this raw egg is the risk on salmonella bacteria that is really found on eggs. to fight the bacteria infections is to store and cook eggs well done as much be advisable for hard boiled , scrambled or with omelet.
