For those who don't know what TUYO is or dried salted fish, the process of salting and drying preserves the fish and can actually safely store this for some time. You'll find tuyo in all gen store nearby in the Philippines. Once it's dried, you can cook it by frying on a hot oil until crispy. Then eat it with a garlic fried rice, with a choice of tomato or vinegar sauce. For a little spice or for the spice lover add crushed chili on the vinegar sauce.

I like dried salted fish and the dried cuttlefish too. It is tasty if we know how to cook them. In my country, these kind of things been sold by a Philippines ancestor peoples. They sell different kind of fish and the kima also. I like the fried salted fish and eat it with plain rice and some vegetable clear soup mostly during rainy day. Sometimes I eat them with boiled tapioca and it taste very good. Apart of Philippines ancestor peoples, the Chinese peoples also selling this thing. Most Chinese peoples love to eat dried salted stuffed fish. The fish which been stuffed with a sea salt granulate. I love to eat fried rice with the salted fish whenever I have my order at the restaurant.

Tuyo is one of the foods that I really like but I am not allowed to eat - its salt content is not OK for my weak kidneys. Nevertheless, I really love eating that food especially when it's crispy fried in palm oil with garlic - YUMM!!!!
It also goes perfect with tomatoes or calamansi juice! Now my mouth is watering..LOL
How I wish I could really eat it but I really cant - I'd better be safe than sorry
