Favorite Summer Fun....

What is you favorite way to go have fun on a sunny, warm day? I love to go camping at a lake and spend my day swimming and my nights by a fire. I bring this up because I do want to know what others like to do in the summer but also because I am going camping today! The hubby, myself and friends in tow are headed of to the Bottomless Lakes State Park today for some fun. I have been dying to go camping since February, it has just been too cold. If you like to camp too I would like to hear about your favorite camping spot. I would probably say that I love Bottomless Lakes best so far. We are going to go to Ruidoso, New Mexico to camp later this summer though and that is in the mountains. I suspect it will end up my favorite;-)

wow that sounds like a real wonderful time. I like to go out for dinner and eat on a terrase. Afterwards have a nice walk and then sit in the park and enjoy the beautiful weather.

Yes, winterose, I love to go out in the late afternoons till early evening and do undertake the things that you do, too.

I guess I would have to say that the idea of spending a day or two at the beach in the summer would be good. I usually go to Cornwall, the west country in the UK, and the beaches are beautiful there. I have some friends who live there so we would go down for a weekend, take the tent and crash out on the beach with a bonfire at night

Because I live in the desert, and it is extremely hot, I don't like to go outdoors. Anything I do, would be indoors. So, the movies is first. Now in the winter, that is a different story. It is still warm, but the weather is gorgeous. Then I enjoy camping.

My favorite summer activity is swimming and going to the beach with my family. I love to play and build sandcastles with my son and go snorekeling with my husband.

The summer heat makes me stay at home most of the times. Yet, it is the time of year when it is best to spend the days by the beach and in the swimming pools to cool us down.

My favourite way to camp is in the summer time, with as much mod cons as possible, I love roughing it to the level of comfort as best I can afford. I have to have a larger size tent, comfortable double sized up off the flood air bed, a camp kitchen, gas cooker & Gas/elec fridge. We use our tent camp site as stepping stones to venture out for day trips, site seeing, bushwalking, waterfall hikes, and I love photography of the nature God hase given us.I can not relate to your area as i live in Australia down under.I can not think of any other activity i like better (apart from making love) Good luck this weekend and I hope the weather is kind to you.
