Was the BCCI right in dropping Sachin and Sourav

I think so, that the BCCI has done a great job and courageous job by dropping these two ''useless antique pieces''as they did not do anything positive during the last worldcup,Hope the Indian Team performs well and these to ''old foggies'' are kept permanently.

I think the decision to drop Sachin was right as he had been highly inconsistent in the last few years and done nothing in crucial matches when India really needed him. I mean just try to remember the last time when he scored when India needed it. In fact, it just became a foregone conclusion that whenever India needs him to play match-winning innings, he got out on single figure scores. Besides, for the last few he has stopped playing natural and aggressive cricket and made a point to play as slow that it would put a turtle to shame. He deserved getting kicked out of the team. As far as Ganguly is concerned, I think they should have kept Ganguly as he was the only batsman who looked in any sort form in the last two series and scored consistently.
