Crimes is very ramphant in our country and it is very undeniable. We have this kidnap for ransom, hold uppings, and many others. Many would reason out that they have done those things because they want something to provide in their families. They want to provide something that a normal and happy family should have, something that if they will just be good they could not or they could hardly provide. It made me think for a while. What if we're richer country would there will lesser crimes?

i agree, there is no country were crimes rate is at zero. i think its in the mentality of the peole that they are deprived of the basic needs and without any effort exerted they tend to do evil things to provide something for their lacks.

I don't think so. Look at the rich and powerful United States, they still have crimes and the most recent shocking crime is the mass shooting at a college campus. Making the country rich is not a 100% solution to make crimes go away, because even though we are roch there are still evil people everywhere.

I think we are rich if only our country government officials were not corrupt. Poverty really causes a lot of crimes and I think it would really lessen up if our country is rich in terms of monetary resources. If people are not hungry am pretty much sure that they could not do crimes as they were contented of there life already.

I don't think there is a place without any crime at all. The crimes in richer countries are just of a different nature, maybe more crimes of passion or road rage. There would be less petty crimes due to financial need. However, money-related crimes in richer countries would of the white collar type. They would be on a grander, more creative scale. Examples are identity theft and insider trading.
