It would be very difficult to predict which two teams will be in the final because all four teams will have their chances and the teams that the mentally stronger will go through to the final.
I think Australia ar estrong contenders obviously becaus ethey are the best team in the world right now and haven't been beaten in this world cup upto now and also have won 25 consecutive world cup games (1999, 2003, 2007).
South Africa though it seems to be up against the tide as they face Australia in the semifinal but they have beaten Australia on several occasions in the last couple of years. Of course who can forget the meemorable match where they chased down the Australian score of 434 in the series decider. Then again, South Africans are known to crumple in big games. Who can forget the Klusener-Donald runout in the 1999 World Cup. If it wasn't for that mishap, SA would have surely won the 1999 World Cup. It seems weird but I think SA's best chance to go through to the finals is by playing Australians. Because I think SA had neither the batting skills to overcome the Sri Lankan slow bowlers nor did they have the bowling attack that can stop someone like Jayasuriya on these slow flat pitches. I think SA's best bet will be to bowl first and chase down the Australian score against a very vulnerable Australian bowling attack as they did in that Historic match.
As far as Sri Lankans are concerned, I think their fragile and inexperienced middle order is the most worrying factor for them. They have some really good players at the top with Jayasuriya, Jayawardene and Sangakkara. They also have the most well-balanced bowling attack in this competition. They have accuracy of Vaas, pace and fire of Malinga, wiley Murali and support bowlers like Fernando, Maharoof, Jayasuriya, Dilshan. All in all, if Sri Lanka are to beat New Zealand, Jayasuriya will have to fire at the top.
Last but not the least New Zealand, they don't have big star players (except for Bond)like other teams but they have some good players who don't look like much but are very effective. There's not much to talk about New Zealand's batting because they seem to be having all different types players who can be very effective on their day. They just need a good solid start and because they have very strong lower-middle and lower order, they can really take to the opposition in the last 10 overs or so. As far as their bowling is concerned, its mainly about one man, Bond.....Shane Bond. He must get Jayasuriya early because if he doesn't, Kiwis don't have any other bowlers who can trouble Jayasuriya. If they get Jayasuriya early then all there bits and pieces bowlers like Franklin, Oram, Patel, Styris, etc. will be more effective. If they get Jayasuriya early then another bowler, who seems to be the best left-arm spinner in the world right now, Vettori will be very effective against previously discussed inexperienced middle order of Sri Lanka.

May be you didn't read the first paragraph. There I said that all four teams are good teams and the teams that show more mental toughness will go through. By the way, I am not God to know the future. I think all of the teams have equal opportunities and that's what I said in my last post.

Based on the current form, i think it will be a repeat of the 1996 world cup finals with Australia and Srilanka entering the finals. Australia Vs SouthAfrica, the match is being played in St. Lucia, where the pitch will be slow is more suitable for the Aussie bowling attack than South Africa. NZ Vs Srilanka, Srilanka will start favorites. But if Bond is able to do some magic, then it might put the not so great Srilankan batting line up in trouble. And again they have to contend with Murali, Vaas and Malinga who are a threat especially when Srilanka bat first and put a decent total on board.
