how do you send large movie files (over 10 mbs) by email to a friend?

these are movies I took with my digital camera. They are less than 1 minute long but too big to attach to my email. they are .avi files. Someone told me to "zip them" but what does that mean?

Go to yousendit.com . You can send files up to 1 Gb free. I use it to send music videos and such.

yeah i agree with the yousendit.com really good way to send files more than 10mb file size.. :) two thumbs up. :)

Hello Anakata2007, yes i agree with you that sometime we cannot simple attach those big size file and send through our email. Normally those email service only allow us to send file not bigger than 2MB. I suggest you to send the big file through website like http://www.sendmefiles.com/ , upload your file there and then sen dthe link to your friend to download.

Zipping them won't really make them any smaller because they're already compressed. I agree with andreaskye... I think you should try out yousendit.com
