Most of the people who enter in mylot cannot make 10 dollars. They quit before making 10 dollars. I know lot of people who has quit after making 4-5 dollars. Mylot does not have to pay for those users. Although this is small amount, but there are many who quit after making 4-5 dollars, so this sums up to a huge amount. the sponsors pay that amount, but mylot does not have to pay, so this is the secret which i think mylot is applying.

i think maybe it is true.because to earn ten dollars is not an easy thing on mylot,it needs too much time and too much patience,so maybe many people will quit their account before getting to ten dollars.sometims, they can not see hopes.

Firstly ... everyone who signs up to mylot CAN make $10. It just depends on how much effort they want to put into the site.
Secondly ... it isn't a secret that mylot doesn't pay people who don't hit $10. You know it and I know it and it's even written in their FAQ that payout isn't until $10 is reached.
I made $15 for my first month at mylot and found it extremly easy to use and fun!!
The reason most people quit before they've hit $10 is simple. They want money just for doing nothing ... and unless you get a lot of active referrals that isn't going to happen.

But don't you think it's very hard and its very slow to make the minimum payout amount. I am not saying that mylot is doing wrong thing, but that's not good to take much time of the people to make 15 dollars. If you had worked for 1 month somewhere else, you could earn 1500 dollars, but it's very slow in mylot.

I agree with Sasselle, people who quit before making $10 are simply signing up and hoping to make money for nothing. Its really not that difficult to make a good amount of money each day. Instead of replying to 100 posts with a few sentences, take your time and actually choose posts that mean something to you. Respond with an in depth response and you might notice your earnings increase drastically. I usually respond to about 10 posts a day and I can make up to $1.00 a day, just for those 10 posts. This sight shouldn't just be about the money though, if it is, I suggest you look else where. And for the record, I have made over $10, so it is possible.

I have to agree with racheld. When I first joined I experimented with that a little. The first day was writing long comments to posts and made a little money, not much, but not bad as far as this sort of thing goes. The next day I tried to write quick comments, a few lines, to a lot more posts. That second day I only made a fraction of what I did the first day. The system isn't a "get rich quick" program, not by any means, but if you take some time and focus on quality, not quantity, you can make a lot more than you would otherwise. I think the main strength of this site is the networking it promotes through these posts, allowing people to connect with like minded people for friendship, business, or even other financial interests. If you use it right, it can have a lot of other benefits, not just the mylot money. Just think quality and the money will come.

I feel I just need to speak up for myLot here. What you said isn't too fair.
Setting a minimum payout *is* fair and quite the common practice. If everyone requires payment any time they want at any amount, imagine the unnecessary workload myLot staff have to handle.
If people run away without cashing out, it's just too bad for them. This happens to any program and is not really myLot-specific.

There is nothing to stop those people coming back later and picking up wjere they left off, I must have earnt almost $200 since I joined in October last year so its perfectly possible to make decent earnings here if you have one or two active referrals and just post whenever you get a spare moment.

I take the 10.00 payment every month, because it is hard to get $25.00 or $50.00 here. I always leave a the extra money in Mh account so It won't be hard to get the $10.00.

That's not really a big secret, you only deserve to get paid if you work hard and if your too lazy to keep posting then you shouldn't get paid.

I am since a month on myLot. I have sofar earned only some 3.70 dollars. But that is by my own "doing" or fault. Because I have only around 50 responses I made. And the some money I got credited is because I have one referral and get some share of it. The thing is that one needs time (and of course, interesting discussions to answer to). But I will spend more and more time on myLot and will eventually reach my goal. It will though take time because I raised my payout limit (for it to be worthwhile) to 100 dollars. We will see. But, other then the earning part, I feel myLot to be a great thing because it is a real community thing. With a lot of possiblities of exchanging views and having contact with all sorts of people.

Is it so? Then what is the reason you think that people are quitting in the mid-way? A member who has already make 5 dollars, there is no point in quitting in the mid-way. But if someone quits, it his own choice, it is not myLot's fault. Do you know what is the reason for their quitting mylot. Have you asked them?

It is true, but I think if I have worked for sometime here and already earned some money, then quitting it before getting my payment will also be a loss of my efforts, time and money

To be saying this means that you are really impatient. It's not very hard to earn $10 here on mylot even if you do not have referrals. If you keep on thinking about the money then you will get tired of waiting and quit before you reach the minimum payout. I joined in late January and quickly reached the $3 mark until I found out that mylot was consuming way too much of my time. So I only picked the posts that I liked and answer them meaningfully and as detailed as possible. Guess what? I found out that the more descriptive the response or the post, the more mylot rewards you for your efforts. If you do this then you can easily reach $10 without you even noticing it. Just enjoy your time here and don't think about the money. You'll be surprised once you reach the minimum payout without even trying. And one more thing: I believe that mylot does not keep those $4-$5 that some mylot users make once they quit. I f they do they will be in a whole lot of trouble. Imagine if a user has $9.95, and decides to quit. If mylot takes that money, what do you think will happen if the user suddenly decides to resume posting and gets the minimum payout?

It's so easy to earn money here that it is silly to pack in when half way there. Even if these people just did a little bit each day they would eventually reach payout. It is their own fault if they miss out on earnings. I have easily reached that amount and it is not even hard but in fact is fun and interesting way to make a little on line.

I think that if you are going to quit that you shouldn't get paid, its a good policy. If you quit because the work is too hard for you, then you shouldn't get rewarded for it. I realize that alot of people dont' make it too long around here, but i'm here to stay.

ya you are right as it is the place where you are a payment silp as you work here at a limit then you get your amount as making of $10 is a hard work . and a person doing that is so tied and he is not taking interest any more in it .......

I am new here and you are already scaring me man:-) consistency is the best policy to survive on mylot, in my view. I think if one has patience and consistency, he can make it to more than 10 dollars in a month. but surely it depends on the time and amount of input that one can offer. I am looking forward to get to my minimum pay, however slow that might be, because i can always enjoy the discussions and i can make friends too :-) so cheer up.
