How do you feel when your reponse is choosen as the Best Response?

I always feel great to have a best response. When my response is selected, i feel honored and that my effort, time as well as content is recognized by the poster. It also gives me another great feeling of satisfaction because when someone selects my response as best, it means i have been helpful in the understanding of subject or provided some really wanted answer, this feeling of satisfying someone else's requirement makes me happy that i have been to any service to some other person. I also feel good when someone else's response is selected as best because i feel that the poster has at least recognized the efforts of someone, even though it is someone else. I feel disappointed when a poster starts a topic never to come back again and who doesn't choose a best response or replies to comments made on his/her discussion. I have only 38 best responses from serious discussions and same number of best responses from riddles/question & answer, but even some of them are multi response posts. when i started, i hoped to get 1 best response out of every 10 responses that i make i.e. 10% of my total replies. so far i am more than satisfied on my best responses:-) wish you best of luck sudeshna22!

I usually do.But my response is it not chossen as best.I feel good and get more energiged for response to other posts.

How can one be sad or unhappy when his/her opinion is marked as the best by someone who counted it the best among all? So I too felt happy when I see my twelve responses from my 191 posts are selected best.

Hello. Whenever one of my replies get chosen as the best response I undergo through a lot of emotions. I feel excited, happy, and most especially honored because the person who posted the topic felt that my response was the one that he thought completely answered his post and was deemed THE BEST. You can make me feel that way by making my reply the best response. lol

It feels good :) Yes I like receiving "best responses" and i have a few in my profile, I check there occasionally and I'm always happy when I find a new one. When I receive a new best response, I go to the discussion and read my response again and also the comments from the discussion's owner if any, I may follow up if needed and thank them.. Usually whenever I read my best response i think I could have done better and I feel thankful to the one who gave me a best response despite some minor errors of spelling or grammar.

Dear sudeshna22 I really feel very happy whenever my response is selected as the best one .. I go through the whole discussion and read other posts too .. and then thanks the member who select my response as the best one :). When I got my first best response .. I was extremely happy and I go through other posts and posted more quality posts .. and again yearned for best response .. I got 8 best responses till now

It makes me feel like I gave a good response.

I am very happy when my response are chosen because every time im here in mylot, i do chose discussions with good quality so that i can also give my honest opinion or answer on it. Its also flattering because from the number of members who responded, i was the lucky one. it motivates me to answer more discussions and as well post my own topic. From the three months, ive been here, im thankful because a lot of members here in mylot chose me as the best response.

Great, superb , ........... Many words to add. I feel, "well, it worked for me" but then that is how I mostly feel when I am responding. If my response can make life easier for someone else, I feel good. Sometimes I feel, duh, but mostly I feel proud to have someone consider my input valid. I would guess, as an discussion starter, one would have to wade through many stupid responses, or the simple "yes" ones with no reasoning why. To think someone read mine, considered it and compared it to others and then chose it makes me feel it was worth the effort to think about the discussion and read all the other responses. What drives me nuts is not knowing the outcome of certain situations. I also like it more if I get best response out of more choices. If I was selected as best response out of only three, that's one thing, but I was picked as best out of 25 or more, than that is something, especially if I was not the first to respond.

*LOL* That's too funny, because I just went to check out my best responses and there was a very nice response to one of my posts that I ended up getting best response for. I read all the other responses, too, but I can't help but to be a little proud that I was picked. :)

Very very happy, i knew that my English is not good, and i try my best to write in English and try to make other people understand what i wrote. I'm so happy if someone give me best response.

Of course I will be delighted as well as grateful that he/she chose my response as the best.

Difinetely i will open the discussion page and read all other members responses. because i would like to know which made be to be one in the best. what are all the thoughts of other members on that particular issue, what is the different thing i did, what others think. how i am facing that particular issue, to know thaqt and all i will do that

I feel elated when I get the best response.i do go to that discussion page and read my response as to what i had written and why it was selcted as the best of all.Plus,i thank the poster of the discussion for chosing my response as the best.

of course best responses are like energy booster for me at least i know someone here in my lot appreciates the things that i have to say and has chosen my answer as the best..yes i look again and read through and then i say thank you for the BR.

I feel very glad and flattering. To be chosen as the best response is a matter of not just appreciation but you had been rewarded on giving your best effort in the discussion.

I will be very very happy. But I only have one response to be the best responses, though I reply so many post. I don't know why. I already try my best to reply them.

I feel great when my response will be selected as best one .. It motivates me a lot to respond to other discussions too. I go through the discussion well and think a lot why that member selected my response as the best one and thank the member for selecting my response as the best one.
