Hate is the most dangerous human emotion, which, if realized into action can cause devastation. more than 100 million people were affected in WW2. Holocaust, constant wars, Israel's occupation of palestine, Christian crusaders, Israelite holy wariors, Muslim jihadists, secular expensionists, all have increased the hatred.
What do you think this world is leading to? how can we end hatred?

Unfortunately, as long as we live in a world where Satan is welcomed by some we will continue to have issues like hate and evil. I think as creatures of God we could do our part in it by trying to become more and more educated and learn about those who are different. Ignorance breeds contempt. Those who are ignorant of other ways seem to find it easier to hate those who are different. Learning about those we judge quickly because they're not like us may help us understand that perhaps there's not always just ONE way to think (our way). Instead, as we learn about those who have different ideas, different ways, etc. then we will begin to see that while they may be different they are also the same in so many ways. Religion is a perfect example of this. If many people would simply learn to tolerate the differences, even if they are completely opposite of their own beliefs they are the same in other ways and God created us all, hopefully to live together in harmony.
Ok, now I'll take down my soap box! LOL

Make love not war is a good one lol seriously, Inter marriage is a great one for solving world problems. I am a European married to a Chinese and my ex was a Turk lol. So I don't regret it at all. I learned alot from all these different cultures and religions. There is on e Great God and that's it simple lol. I for one am a great peace advocates. We start small, start respecting each other, even the ant on the floor that is treading before us, we should make way for it and let it pass. RESPECT, without respect we cannot end hatred.

Well, my view differs a little on this because I believe that almost all hatred is fueled by greed. Greed for not just money but power and well, all things. Which of course, indirectly includes religion as it gives an easy "excuse" for hating others.
"My God hates you, therefore I will kill you, and my greed for power will be helped along".
So it is against human nature for hatred to end, as much as I would like to see it. As long as man is full of himself, which will be forever generally, than hatred, war, intolerance will exist. And we will pretty much drive each other into the ground.
i know not a very happy view but, you know, there are a few things we can do.
We can strive as individuals to be tolerant of others, simplify our lives and see what is important, and make every attempt to never harm another.

hi matrixx!can we put an end to hatred anyways? I don't think so.
Hatred is a natural human emotion, part of nature. It has been there since time immemorial, so i don't think we can and we should put an end to it. Yes, its a negative feeling, but then it's part of it, still necessary to make us better persons. Besides i don't think hatred was the cause for all those devastations you mentioned, but man's failure to accept. If love reigns in every man's heart, then there wouldn't be any genocide, any holocaust or whatsoever.
It's okay to feel hatred, but we should also learn how to detach from that negative feeling. We should learn how to adapt with that emotion, that's why we're called man. And lastly, we should learn not to dwell too much on that, otherwise hatred will overcome our system, and it will surely lead us to more negative responses.

I believe that hate is not always negative, we rather need it as part of our nature for defending ourselves and loved ones, in case we are offended. The hate i want to get rid of and was part of my question is the one that causes genocide, devastation and killing without knowing who we are killing and exactly for what crime. i see your point that hatred was not always the cause of acts i mentioned, but will you drop out this factor in these events? you have quite a good approach and thanks for your comments!:-)
