We are experiencing right now a very hot summer and this condition is expected to last into the middle of May (or until May 14). And what a good coincidence that we are also having a very hot political season which would also tentatively ends on May 14 -- election day.
The hot climate is really reflective of the current politics season here in the Philippines. It's good thing I am not a candidate or else I will definitely get a free tan under the sun.
How hot is it on your specific area -- both climatic and politic?

Yes, it is so hot in here, I can't barely sleep at night. I remember the hottest was when the first ever rain fell down on April (can't remember the exact date), yeap it is raining, but can't able to feel it, why I know? because I'm not asleep then, and you heard me right, it's raining (about 20 minutes or more) but I still perspiring at my bed (lolz, it's not what you're thinking of ^^).

Yeah, very hot indeed, imagine it reaches 38 degrees recently. I can't imagine myself staying under the heat of the sun for 5 minutes. The sun is very hot and that is totally alarming. The global warming is indeed erupting.
Good thing that the local government of Davao City is out doing a reforestation. Hopefully all local government here in the Philippines will do the same rather than keeping an eye and putting to much emphasis in the up coming election.

It is so hot that it makes life miserable! hehe, well I wish that even tough it's this hot, people would still use their brains on May 14. Also, I hope that, whatever comes out of the elections, they don't blame it on the weather.

im from pangasinan and i can say that politics is not as hot as of those other places.. on the other hand, our climate here is really hot. maybe because we're near the shorelines that's why the temperature rises day in and day out..

Don't said like that because Im from Malaysia also had a same situation at your country that is too hot. Now, my place now the temperature here is 32 degree celcius. I think too hot. But, only some place have a rainy day not at my place. Every night I go out from my house to have a cold wind outdoor my house because in my house is too hot. The maximum speed of fan can't make me cold.

It is hot... maybe this coming may will be the hottest month for the Philippines... I cannot survive the day without eating ice cream or drinking cold drinks.. But thanks to the topography of the Philippines.. because it is surrounded by water... Filipinos.. didn't experience the heat wave...

The weather here in our country is alarming stage already. No rains and even rivers here in our place is no longer flowing like last time. I could hardly see flowing water anymore. I feel alarmed becaused I have never seen our river looks like that. I think its about time that we must really need to plant trees. Its hot here but glad that my father had planted narra tree and mahogani tree in our backyard before so it was not that hot compared to Manila. I usually sleep into my parents room since they have other house already but I know it is not advisable to used aircon as it added up into global warming so I just used the ordinary electric fan for now. And also I am going to try planting some more plants here in our backyard. As industrialization is already coming here in our place because International airport soon to operate here in our place I do hope that trees and plants would not be scarce because of this development.

I'm a Filipino here in the US, and we had been to very cold weather lately. I think spring actually started yesterday when the temperature rose to 16 degrees Celsius. That's already hot here. I like it, though, than Philippine weather. It's so hot there, I heard from my sister in the Philippines. Everybody's complaining about the actual weather and talking about the political climate as well. Hot, indeed! I shall be visiting in June, and I guess that's rainy season there (hopefully no floods). Happy myLotting, kabayan!

It has been cooler than normal here weather-wise. More like March than April. I've enjoyed it, because I don't take the heat very well.
Our politics are just heating up. All the candidates are hurling the usual mud and junk. The lot are getting weeded out, usually by lack of money. I think only the richest candidates win our elections anymore.

Also in my country Holland it's very warm for the time of the year, unfortunately it doesn't effect the the politics season, but people look more happier then they were last year.because it was so cold back then.
It even gets better, that's what they tell us,so i'm ready for the good days.

Yes, it's really very hot, climate and politics, and both are becoming hotter as May is fast approaching. We have about 36 degrees centigrade here and accordingly, in some provinces, it's about 38 - 40 and same with politics. I hope that we could still have better elections in the future.

Yes, it's so really hot here in our country. I don't wanna think about the politics, my blood boils, I'd rather think of Razon's Halohalo or that of Chowking's, buko-pandan ice candy and the latest of Selecta, Nestle or Magnolia.
I allow the beaches and resort to others I'd rather stay inside a cool place. I noticed that my skin is numbed after long exposure to electric fans and my backaches after sleeping in a super cool airconditioned room.

it is quite alarming to have this very hot climate. maybe because of global warming. i notice that even aircondtion units are noy enough to produce the desired temperature of a room, i still use a fan. and i have observed, my skin feels painful after staying under the sun for a few minutes. the atmosphere is definitely different from before and it is very noticeable.
