Now i know the moment most of you read this you would be going to respond that both are the same and you will never prefer a girl over a boy or vice versa. But try thinking frankly.Deep inside somewhere dont you just 'hope it was a boy/girl'.If so what makes you think so? Do you so often worry about the future of your baby before they are even born? Will you ever regret that is happened to be a boy/girl?

Yes,we all have our secret desire to have a baby boy or baby girl. But the truth is that once you see the face of the baby when he/she is born, all desires fade away and you just want to give all the love and care that you can,to the baby who has come out of your womb. That is exactly what I felt and still feel today. When I was pregnant,I was frankly speaking, confused as to who I wanted-a baby boy or girl.Thinking of the Asian culture where boy's birth is still celebrated,I would wish I had a baby boy but then I never felt comfortable with that idea.Maybe because I have all sisters and that is what I felt comfortable with.I remember thinking,How will I bring up a baby boy?But god decided to give me a baby girl and now I would not exchange it for all the wealth of the worl and beyond. She is my darling princess and will always remain the same.I never worried about the future of my child before she was born, because I knew that I had a lot of good things to give her,as in good morals, good education and a good social and family atmosphere. Not one day have I regretted having my daughter.Afterall, children are miracles, aren;t they? There are so many childless couples out there who love kids and they cannot have kids due to medical complications, and thinking of them,I feel blessed to have been able to give birth to a healthy, happy and cheerful baby.

My bf and I dont care about my baby's gender,so do my parents.
I hope only he/she is healthy both in body and in mind.
But in our country, most of parents want to have a boy, especially the old people. I dont know exactly why they do like that.but i guess maybe boys can inherite his family name and they can live with their sons when they are too old to look after themselves. If you have a girl, she will marry someone. Then she has to look after her inlaws. She cant have enough time and money to look after four old people.

Given a choice I would prefer to have a baby girl. I feel that bringing up girls are easier and it is so fun dressing them up. There are so many nice dresses out there nowadays for little girls. I do worry about the future of my baby ( especially when I was expecting a boy)before they were even born but I do not have any regrets, I have a girl followed by a boy. I love them both very much.

I have a daughter and a son. I also have a step-daughter. If god willing I was ever to have another child I would want a boy. They are much easier to raise. I love them all but I'm old know and a boy is alot less drama.

I think I would prefer a girl first just because I love dolling up little girls and can't wait to do that! I love little boys too but I think if I got to choose that I would choose a little girl. Plus I have sooo many names picked out for girls. I can't find too many boy names I like, or that are not already taken!

When I was younger i wished that I would have a girl first - really dont know why.. i had the name picked out an everything. Now that I am older and about to consider to have a baby - I can honestly say That i do not care - that i just wish for the baby to be healthy. Boy or girl - nevermind. I will have both sooner or later =)

I honestly do not care if it is a boy or a girl. I just want a happy healthy baby. Yes I would rather have the boy first just because I loved having an older brother but if I have a girl first I will be fine with that too.
