Do you think you are a procrastinator? If so how do you manage?

Do you always put things off till the proverbial last minute? Or do you always do things at the first given opportunity? Do you try to find excuses to explain the delays and seek extensions for your projects/assignments or do you always finish on time?
If you are a procrastinator, what has been your worst ever experience? Have you been able to overcome it? Any tips? I could use them! (Actually, this was a post that I had been thinking of writing since last month, but I was finally able to do it today!!!!!)

Ha ha, you know what I was just about to do, I was about to put off this discussion, I said to myself, let me respond to this one tomorrow.
So, yeah, I do procrastinate, sometimes a lot. But that's never really happened at work, I haven't worked that much to really be certain of that. But when I was in school, I never studied until the very last moment. Luckily I still never did bad. And when it comes to starting projects, any kind, I do tend to put them off, but once I start there is no stopping me, then procrastination goes out the window. It's just the initial nudge that I usually need, once I have that, then there's literally no looking back.

That's exactly the same way it is for me too!!! If it had not been for the last minute, nothing would ever get done! My mom would tell me that if I thought that there was less time to do something than I actually had, I might have better luck at finishing things on time!

I try not to put things off to the last minute as they always play on your mind and not so much worry you but concern you. So I try and get things done as soon as possible. Well done for being able to post this discussion!

I think there is a little procrastinator in all of us. But if you feel you really want to accomplish some tasks, then set some goals to guide yourself along. Make sure you stick to what you set out to do.
