Old or New?

Have you seen the original, When a Stranger Calls? If so, which one do you like better. They are both really different. The new one centers around just the babysitter in the house for one night being terrorized. But the original it only shows the babysitter being terrorized for like 5-10 min. Then the rest of the movie is one cop searching for the killer. And then the ending is the killer coming back to the babysitter when she has her own kids and going after them. I liked the new one better, but the original had it's good parts.

old is way better. that was when they made movies good.back then you didn't need to see the blood or anything. it just scared the sh*t out of you and you didn't have to see all that other stuff. i think that's whats wrong with all the kids now days. theyy are so used to seeing it that is normal to them.

I agree that most remakes are not as good as their originals. But I liked the plot in the new one. And it isn't because there was more blood, because there isnt really blood in the new one. But I liked how it just stayed with this one girl, for one night...instead of spanning over years. But I am not saying I dont like the old one, I do.

I just saw the new one. But remember Old is Gold. The new one is real treat to watch. I was looking for that type of a movie.
And Guess what ,, I watched it at night 2 am and It was raining hard out side. And u can feel the fun and the Thrill for watching such sort of a movie. Untilll the end i didnt knew that it was a remake.
As i live in Pakistan So u Can understand What would i know extra.
Anyways after that movie i am a big fan of Camilla Belle.

Good time to be watching a scary movie! I do that sometimes lol. Makes it even scarier and thrillier. If you liked the remake you should check out the old one too, it was good, but WAY different! :)

I haven't watched the original movie. I like the way she fought with the murderer to protect herself and the kids.

yeah, the original movie is way different. Like I said, the first 15 min of the original is like the whole remake. She doesnt fight for the kids, in fact there is a sadder twist in the beginning with the kids. I would recommend the original to you, its different but still good.
