What is your favourite Queen Song?

Freddie Mercury and Queen - This is a wonderful still of England's very own Queen.

I don't think I like as many songs by anyone group as I do Queen. While it's nearly impossible for me to pick a favourite, March of the Black Queen from Queen II is near the top. It's so whimsical and full of such vivid imagery, I can't resist it. What is your favourite Queen song?

It may seem trendy but my favorites are bicycle and bohemian rhapsody.

Even though they're somewhat "played out," I still love them both. And I never fail to sing along to Bohemian Rhapsody whenever it comes on the radio.

as much as i like the older stuff,i'd say it's "who wants to live forever" at this point. i think freddie already knew he was dying at that point-it has a haunting quality to it,like he was recording that last bit of himself.

Being a huge Highlander fan, I cannot help but love "Who Wants to Live Forever?" That's one of those songs that drags you down into the emotional depths, especially considering the fact that Freddie is no longer with us.

Yikes, one out of so many? That's going to be a pretty difficult choice. Just about anything off their greatest hits albums, but I can't figure out which one has all of these on it. (Sorry, my albums are packed away) We will rock you, We are the champions, Bicycle race, Fat bottomed girls and alot of others. Hubby & our daughter know I love this collection, so they're always turning the radio up when we hear them. LOL, I just loved playing the record til they begged me to turn it off, but tapes & CDs are so much better. :)

I know! As a Queen fan, it's nearly impossible to pick a favorite song, though each one you've mentioned is wonderful in and of itself!

If polled, I'd wager that would be everyone's favorite on average. Thanks, Wayne's World! *grin*

There are so many songs I like that its difficult to find a favourite. I always sing along to any Queen songs on the radio. I guess if I have to choose then Bohemain Rhapsody would be top of the list.

Scaramouche! Scaramouche! Will you do the fandango? Thunderbolt and lightning, very, very frightening . . . I'm sorry, I couldn't resist. Now it's stuck in my head, thank you very much. :)

Yay! No one mentioned my favorite Queen song yet! While I also like "Fat Bottomed Girls" quite a bit, my favorite would probably have to be "Crazy Little Thing Called Love". Although I'm not a huge Elvis fan, it kinda has a Elvis-y quality to it and it just works for me. It's just one of those songs ("Love Shack" by the B-52's is another one) that I challenge anyone to listen to - no matter what mood you're in - and not start feeling happy.

It may not be Queen, but I really dig "Love Shack," though I must admit, that "TIN ROOF RUSTED" line has always stumped me. Just what does that mean, anyway?!

That is a hard one cause I really like most of Queens songs. If I had to choose I would have to pick the bohemian rhapsody. My second choice would be Bicycle built for 2 or We will rock you. That song gets me pumped up!

"We Will Rock You" always gets me going, too. When it comes on the radio, or if I have the CD in, while I'm driving, I find myself going faster and faster! It can be a bit dangerous, that song can.

I know it seems cliche or over chosen...but I really love "Bohemian Rapsody" the best of all their songs. They have so many good ones - but that is the one that touches my heart the most.

I wouldn't call it a cliche. I think it's due to the fact that that song has had so much more exposure than their others. Even though I've heard it dozens of times, I still adore it.

This is a tough one!!My top three picks would be "I want it all","Las palabras de amour" and "Who wants to live forever". If I absolutely had to pick a favorite.....I would go with "I want it all". I'm a really big Queen fan and do like most of theire songs....even some of the ones you never hear on the radio. It's to bad Freddie Mercury past on so early.....he just can't be replaced.

Sadly, I became a Queen fan right around the time Freddie passed away. Still, after almost twenty years, it breaks my heart.

I am not fan of Queen's but I like some of their songs and 2 of them can be called legendary songs by their popularity and I have to admit quality. They are We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions. I like the second more and I have even know how to play it on piano. It was one of the first songs I learned. I prefer to listen Dire Straits, Eric Clapton, Rolling Stones and that kind of rock, alto as I said I like few songs of the bend Queen.

We have something in common, because I like each of the performers you mentioned, especially the Stones! Time is on my side . . .

The two songs I hear the most are 'Who wants to live forever' and 'Princes of the Universe' however, with sports events expecially the finals 'We are the champions' makes an apperance and 'We will rock you' is eternal like all the others. Then you start on all the other ones the romantic ballads 'Somebody To Love' and the euforic 'I Want It All' I listen to Queen very often. You also now when a band is amazing when you start judgeing what song you don't love to limit the list every song mentioned is brilliant so : Queen Rules!!!

Princes of the Universe and Who Wants to Live Forever? are both from the Highlander soundtrack, as well. I cannot help but be reminded of that movie when I hear them.

My favorite out of all would have to be 'Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy' - sweet & fun to listen to all at the same time. This group has a great range of songs to listen to, no matter what your mood!

Yes! Finally, someone picked that song. I must admit, when I first heard it, I wasn't sure whether or not I liked it, but it's since grown on me and now I love it!

Bohemian Rhapsody! I got to sing it in a state choir with 200 other students and it was AMAZING.

Two hundred people singing it simultaneously?! Now that puts a different slant on things. I wish I could've heard that. Hmm, I wonder if there's something like that over on YouTube. :)
