r0131n I'm sure if the owner is there then he should have picked it up in the first place. If the coin happen to be next to somebody then I normally ask if they've dropped it, if not then I'll keep it.

r0131n I think I shall try that this year and see how much I can pick up in a year. I haven't picked up anything yet so far though. I guess the state of the economy is letting people pick up every penny they drop so there is nothing for me to pick yet. :o)

r0131n That is a lot of change. I've never really let that much change accumulate. As soon as I reach between £5 to £10 then I alwasy find something useful to buy.

r0131n That's one thing I don't do and I admire you for doing that. I sometimes just kick harmful objects on the streets to the side, out of the way rather than picking it up.
