what does the colour mean?

When I started in mylot I really wanted to get a star next to my name. Now that I have one I'm not really sure what it means. I know it has something to do with your reputation. What does the number 79/100 mean? What does the colour signify? Do I get more money if I have a higher rating or a different colour star? How do I get a different colour star?

Your rating means how people have rated here on mylot. People on here give you + or - ratings for your comments and discussions! 79/100 is a good start it means people have rated you + and you have given good responses. keep it up.
you dont get any more money from a different coloured star. People tend to respond to those with higher stars as they are more respectable in the mylot community, I was on an 8 star for ages. When I became a 9 star more people responded to my discussions. So in a sense you get more for a higher star if people respond to your discussions.
You get a different coloured star once you reach a number with a 6 at the end say you reached 86/100 you would have a 9 star until you reached 96/100. the colour is just to make it easier to notice peoples ratings.

I don't really know what are these stars about. My guess is that they are based on how people rate your comments: Positively or Negatively.
Right now you have an 8 (79/100). This means you are well rated! Cheer up!
I don't know if you earn more money, you may try looking at the FAQ (down the page).

I now have a purple one. I don't know exactly what it means but I liek purple.
