when you go to parlor, or barbershop, who decides your hairstyle? is it you alone...or do you leave it to the beautician alone? or it's a suggestion of both? sometimes it's hard to choose which hairstyle you want and what suits the shape of your face. and what do you do when you don't like the cut of your hair?

I just had my hair cut 2 days ago. I had hair just below my shoulders, with side swipe long bangs. I was straitening it and got tired of the style so I made an appointment for that evening.
I went in and told the beautician that I wanted something shorter with bangs, but it had to be stylish....I am 43 and didn't want to look like an old lady. She started cutting and cutting and I started to freak a bit. At the end, it was perfect. I couldn't have explained what I wanted because I really wasn't sure. Now I have wash and go hair~ easy maintance for the summer!

I alone decide on my hairstyle when I go to the hairdresser. She will show me pics to make sure she's cutting it the way I want it, but other than that, she leaves the decision to me.
I haven't been to the hairdresser for a long time. I think it's time I went and had my hair layered as it's long and tends to get flat.
Brightest Blessings.

I have my favourite barber. It took me years to find a barber as perfect as him. He is polite, pleasant, quiet. Most importantly, he cuts my hair exactly as I wish it. Thence, I always like the cut of my hair...when he cuts it!
