so for once im collecting cans! thus far i have about 52 cans, and thats around $1.56 for about 3 days. i think this is going to be fun to see how much i can actually collect!(plus who wouldnt mind a few dollars?) so yeah, just thought id fill you all in about life

Where does one turn in cans to receive money?

In Michigan every pop can is worth a dime. You pay a deposit every time you purchase a pop. Then you turn your cans back in for money. If you are diligent in searching road sides and sports activities you can make some money.

When I was a kid we used to collect coke bottles and it was not only fun, but also gave us some extra money. Of course, we could buy a gallon of gas for 29 cents then too!

There was a time I actually fed my kids with money I got from collecting cans. I like recycling too-every little bit helps.
