I always thought onions is the best cooking spice since it is almost use in all food and cookings especially meats and vegetable. It has a wonderful taste and aroma. Next is garlic.
Do you agree?

The spices that i always have at home are garlic, onions, ginger root, tomatoes, black peppers, laurel leaves, red and green bell peppers. These things make the food we cook taste better and these are healthy, too.

I use either garlic powder or chopped garlic in almost every main dish I cook. Kind of goes with being Italian I guess. If I put anything else first they'd drum me out of la familia. LOL
