I just got a star, how did you feel when you got yours?

OK, you have officially depressed me. (Just kidding) I want a star now and before I had not even thought about it. I gather from one of your comments that you get a star at 100 posts but what determines the number and color of the star? Congratulations on the star and I will strive harder to get mine.

I was happy too when I got it, same as everyone. It is great you have star 8 at only 103 posts. That means you write very good, and quality of your posts is on high level. Congratulations!!! I have about 250 posts now and star 6, which will soon become 7 I hope. At start I had star 4 which wasn't so motivational. I continued to write and now it is 6. You don't get any money for the star, but you get a bit more money for you posts cause they are probably useful. How long have you written to archive 100 posts??? Will you continue to write until you get 500 posts when you'll be able to copy paste or? Good luck, my MyLot friend!!!

Congratulations! You have also received a star. There is nothing wrong with feeling happy that you have reached 100 posts. You have a 9 rating and that shows you make good quality posts. LOL That's funny you say you feel like you're at school and the teacher just rewarded you for good work. That's how I felt when I reached my first star and I was HAPPY! My next goal is to shoot for 500 posts. Well done and keep up the good work!

wow congratulations! Actually, I've been expecting that star since yesterday :) When i reached my 100 posts and got a star, i felt happy and motivated.

i think its a great feeling when you first get your star. I remember when they were first introduced and i had already 100 posts. It was a red one. Ive had it ever sinse except for when the negative ratings fairy paid me a visit and i dropped to an 8 for a week, but otherwise ive stuck on 9 oh well im happy, ill never get to 10 but so be it blessed be

It is not wrong to feel happy when you get your first star after joining myLot. I too feel elated when I got a red star rating (9) when I made my 100th post. I was really happy that I got a star rating of 10 even with just 150 posts and still maintaing it until now even though I only have just made few posts and not having been online here for couple of days/weeks. Well done...Keep on posting...

I am working my way up to a star..I loved the feeling when I had a sar on another forum...I think it gives ou some sort of status...well done on your star hope there are many more to come

How did I feel when I got my star? I just thought it was something else, and moved on. I mean, it's always nice to be appreciated, but it's just another thing in life, not like winning the lottery or anything, but nice, just the same.

a month ago, i have a star of 8, now I only have 7, I dont know why my star becomes low.

We never really grow up, I think! So getting stars will always feel good. I thought that 100 posts was so many and that I would never get there! (Now look at me!) I was tickled when I got that star! Now I worry about the color and the number all the time!

it was a wonderful moments for me when i got my star. it was 8th number. but i was busy at last week that's why i couldn't post or start discussion here. and now my rank is 7th. but i am happy and i am sure i will get back my 8th. Congratulation for your high rank :)

I feel good of course, but when i accumulated 100 posts, i receive 10 blue star too, i think that mylot loves me...just kidding, any way congratulations for your star.
