Sleeping through the night?

When should my 16 month old son start sleeping through the night?

some kids take a long time unformtuantely, but stick to a routine, try not talking to him much if you have to go in halfway through the night so he knows its not getting up time yet, make sure its a seperate type of attention from daytime attention

Personally, I think by that age, he should have BEEN sleeping through the night...my children have slept through the night since they were about 4 months old (now 2 yrs and 1 yr). What is he eating? How soon before bed do you feed him? If he's only on baby food and his bottle (or hopefully sippy by now) - he's probably still hungry. Try feeding him table food and feed him about 1 hour before bedtime.

I have no idea. My 3 and 2 year olds still dont sleep through the night. Good luck is all I can say.

my son has been sleeing through the night from about 9 months he is now 14 months

Don't worry your not alone my 17 mos. old son is not sleeping early at night time. He sleeps around 11 pm that's the earliest and most of the time he sleeps around 12 or 1:30. It was worse before he goes to sleep at 4 or 5 am which really makes weak and unable to focus on other things
