I think to go by bike or motor bike some of the way between Alaska and Argentina might be possible but you would need excellent planning. You would be wise to leave Alaska in July or August to take advantage of the summer weather. You would then not have much of a problem traveling through Canada, the USA and Mexico. Then you would travel through Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama. Then you would have to get yourself and your bike shipped to Colombia. The Darian Gap is a dangerous jungle area separating Central and South America. From Colombia you would travel through Equador, Peru, Chile and Argentina. I have read and seen the film of The Motor Cycle Diaries.i think that you would enjoy seeing this great movie. Some of the two men's trip was quite challenging but they had a wonderful time and saw some stunning scenery. Good luck if you do decide to do this amazing trip.

Both. I think it would be feasible with an awful lot of planning. I think the idea is a little bit crazy myself, but if one was motivated enough they could achieve it. It would take forever though, lol. Good question.
