I love being thrifty. It saves my family and I a lot of money each year. We have a family of five, so as you can imagine food can start to get expensive. So I found a solution to it. Coupons, yes I said it coupons. Every week I...

creativedreamweaver That's wonderful. I'd love to be able to save with coupons. I shop with my hubby though and he is not into coupons at all. He thinks they are a big hassle and doesn't want to mess with them, even though he knows we could save money. He does buy items on sale...

creativedreamweaver Red rose day is June 12th every year. There isn't any other type of rose day that I could find that celebrates the different varieties of roses. It would be neat if someone started a "generalized" rose day. I love roses and have many rose bushes. I love it...

I hiss at my cat when she is on the fur or doing something she should not. When I do it she is not scared she gets off and when I look at her she looks away.
I growl at ,my dogs also. They put their heads down tail between legs...

creativedreamweaver I do make a hissing noise when our cats act up, like clawing at the furnature. They have learned that this means "no" and stop immediately. I think you have the right idea...it is their lanquage. I've never growled at the dog though. He is pretty trained in...

Can you sum up your day or your mood in just one word? Or maybe you'll need more than just one word to do it. What's your day like so far?
Here's mine: Rushed.
As usual, I'm trying to get everything done and doing it well at...

creativedreamweaver My word for the day is "hurried".
I have to get several things done today. One of them is doing our taxes and that is going to eat up a big chunk of time. It is not something that I am looking forward to doing either. Plus that I have several other pressing...

I personally always have to sleep 9 hours in order to feel rested. I will sleep through the whole night without getting up. Unless I feel sick then I will wake up once in awhile. How many hours do you need to sleep to feel rested?...

creativedreamweaver Like you I have to have about nine hours of sleep a night to feel completely rested. Sometimes it takes me a long time to get to sleep and on those mornings I feel like I am dragging when the alarm clock goes off. I used to get sick at night a lot so I know...

Has anyone ever said "back in the day" to you? Well, I heard it a lot from a coworker when i was working. And he was only 25. So I dont think it really applied for him to say "back in the day." So, I have a question, for the other...

creativedreamweaver I for one, have my notify off on several of my friends. It isn't that I don't want to respond to my friends discussions. I can do that from the mylot front page where it says "Discussions my Friends Have Started". The reason I turn notify off is because I have...

creativedreamweaver I think myLot is probably just getting rid of those members that do not adhere to the guidelines and continually break the rules. Also, if they don't have a legitimate paypal account they can be deleted from the system. This is only my guess as to why mylot...

creativedreamweaver That's a very thought provoking quote. I really like it. I find my self often getting stuck in a rut...a rut of the past, which I can't do anything about. All we really know for certain is that we have today and we should live it right and to it's full extent....

Today is going to be such a busy day, and already I'm off to a horrible start. Normally by now I'd be getting to my first stop on my shopping trip, Sam's Club. It opens at 10am and usually I'm out the door at 9:30 to be there....

creativedreamweaver Wow, your morning overwhelmed me, lol. You have alot to do today, but I know you can get it done. Just take it one step at a time. I too have mornings like this, where nothing goes according to schedule. All you can do is take a deep breath and forge forward....

Have you put your dog or pet to sleep? Do you agree with this process or do you think nature should take care of it?
