I know some people here arent native english speakers but im sure not all the mistakes are theirs,
Its really starting to annoy me
There is nothing worse than a serious discussion, destroyed by someone taking Drogs
or another person talking about cremation and baryal
I mean if these people werent putting out 10 discussions a minute and instead took and extra second to check their spelling
Also its even worse if its the title,
Many a discussion i have not replied to because the title is spelt wrong
Does anyone else agree, or am i just being wierd?

Maybe whoever wrote 'baryal' is hooked on phonics, haha. I must admit I've made a few typos here, and am always embarassed when I notice them. And yes, it's pretty annoying to see so many that the whole thing is gibberish. If I can't figure out what someone is trying to say on the second try, I don't bother.
What annoys me more than typos here is typos in newspapers and magazines. That is inexcusable.

I have to agree with you. It really drives me nuts when I see so many misspellings. It's almost impossible to read and since I don't have a lot of time, I do skip over those posts that are so difficult to understand. I am a professional typist and I have trouble on the new computer keyboards because they are so light to touch. I've found that I'm making a lot more misspellings than I ever did when I had to use a manual typewriter! We all need to try harder to take our time and make ourselves legible. Thanks for the question!
