Windows is the easiest to install and use for billions of people worldwide. Most programs that are created are compatible with Windows and this is not the case with the other two. Windows however is the most open to hackers and viruses so that favours the other two.
However, with everything taken into consideration i prefer Windows simply because its the most used and most things are made for Windows operating systems.

I like Windows the best. I have used Macintosh as well but I don't think it is as easy to use and navigate. I just wish windows was not so suseptable to viruses! That part is the biggest pain.

Both Linux and Mac OS get occasional viruses as well, as there are those people out there who wish to prove that it can be done. Linux and Mac OS have tough shell designs, and enjoy the advantage of obscurity while Windows commands the market and remains the biggest target, but don't make the mistake of believing they are invincible. The truth is much the contrary, and has long since been proven.
Uninformed users also believe that Linux is more "stable" than Windows because it is "designed better." This is also false. The fact is that Linux is much smaller in size and less complex than Windows. Every Linux distro that I know of comes with multiple programming platforms for nerds who have nothing better to do than build from the ground up.
Windows, on the other hand, comes with most of the essentials already in place. And the library of supported applications and hardware is so incredibly large that likely no one will ever know what all is out there. There is a reason why Windows operating systems hog up over 96% of the global market. That reason is simple; it just does more.
While a fresh, unpatched copy of Windows XP without any third-party security software will usually be compromised in some way within an average of 39 seconds after initially connecting to the WorldWideWeb, the fact is that there is indeed security software strong enough to fortify it against exploits and be just as secure with Windows and even IE6 as with any other OS. You just have to know the jargon, and be educated and up-to-date on what does what.
Unfortunately, the vast majority of people are not, including some professionals who don't keep up with their homework. I use Windows exclusively, and because I know what works, as well as the how and why, I never have problems with spam, fraud, malware, or grayware. If you care to view my profile, and check some of the most recent "discussions I've responded to," you'll find more details. Look for a couple of my responses with regard to firewalls and antivirus software, in the latter of which I just received a "best response" rating today. Enjoy!

For the home entertainment user, Linux maybe not a good option, although there are more games aviable for Linux, but most of it are for Windows. This is a reason of the less population of Linux at home. For office usage, linux get more and more customer. So I prefer use Linux in the office, and Window at home.
I never used Macintosh, so I can not say about it.
