wow thats good. I get excited when I save like $3 lol we don't get coupons in our newspapers anymore not sure exactly why so all my coupons come from me asking for them over the internet or making copies of them. I mostly use coupons for diapers. I try to on other things but doesn't always work. Where do you get your coupons from?

The best I ever did with coupons was the one time the store actually GAVE me a dollar and some change!
A few years ago several of the stores in my area were tripling coupons up to 99 cents each, but the rule was supposed to be that if the total of the tripled coupon was more that the price of the item that the item would just be free, you wouldn't get any overage.
Well, the one grocery store didn't seem to be playing it that way. My total came up negative and the cashier started to hand me back some money. I said that didn't seem right to me so she called over a manager. The manager then said it was right and gave me the money. I figured that if the store manager gave me the money that I was going to keep it and have a fun story to tell.
Good work using coupons! You can really save money with them, if you use them for things you were already going to buy or for things you really can use.

About 6 years ago, before WalMart ran all the other grocery stores out of my area, I used to be an avid couponer. Kroger would have triple coupon day and I would go crazy! The best I did was one time when the bill was $46 and some change and after coupons I paid one dollar and some change! I don't even bother with coupons anymore as the generic brands at WalMart beat the national brands...even with a coupon. I only clip an occassional coupon.

The most I have ever saved is about 8.00 dollars. Lately I have been buying store brands instead of name brands unless they are on sale and I have a coupon.
