Do you smile at strangers?

We meet people everywhere we go. Sometimes our eyes meet. Would you smile at them or would you look away? I consider myself a friendly kind of guy so I always smile. What would you feel if someone smiled at you?

As long as you smile back when you're being smiled at. I don't really like people who does not reciprocate the smile.

I do smile at strangers, especially if they are looking at me. I don't know if it's always a happy smile or maybe a sarcastic smile sometimes..~~lol especially when someone seems to memorize your every detail. And if someone smiles at me, I smile back. A warm genuine smile is always welcome, even from a stranger. Have a great day r0131n! (^^,)

Thanks for your response. I don't really like people staring at me or try to memorize every detail. I try to smile at them and if they smile back then perhaps they want to meet me so I try and give them an opportunity. If they don't smile then I just try and imagine me sticking my tongue out at them. hehehe Do you do that too? :o) Yes, a warm genuine smile is always welcome even from a stranger. I'm a mixture. I can be quite reserved when I'm out and about, and yet if someone smiles at me, I always smile back, and am ever open to friendly exchanges between myself and others. I often smile quite freely at others myself. I try to be as pleasant as possible.

i do smile at strangers sometimes...i used to do it all the time, but not now, coz some people are snobs. but i can't help to smile at them, i think i'm too friendly in a way. i feel special if strangers smile at me. probably smiling attracts friendly faces as well.

It feels good to receive a smile. I think that people who don't smile back are snobs too. keep on smiling. :o)

i give my smile to everybody. If they respond better, if not, i don't care :0 i can't force them too.

it probably depends on my mood but I do and i think its generally a good experience but a huge grin on a stranger always looks questionable in certain circumstances.
