Tonight Hugh Laurie(house)appeared on American Idol's Idol gives back show. He was acting like his character on House. I am glad that actors and actresses came out for this wonderful show to give back to those who need it the most.

I'm glad that many famous people came to show their support for a worthy cause. It was great to see Hugh Laurie but I would have liked it better if they showed more of him doing the Staying Alive song. My boyfriends son didn't know about his British accent so he was very suprised. I was wishing that the whole cast from House could have been there.

I didn't think he was acting like his House character at all. You must have missed him clowning around during the "Stayin Alive" performance! It was odd to hear him speak with his real accent though! He speaks American so well on the show! lol

To me that was one of the best charity shows I have seen in a long time. Wasn't the the other Hugh (Grant) funny trying his sexy dance moves. The Celin Dion and Elvis clip was unreal.

Isn't it amazing how many votes came in? It's so great that they doubled for Idol Gives Back. I hope that money helps, some of those stories are just so devastating. At least this way we could do our share and feel a little less helpless.

I think that it was a very good thing to because no matter what people all over the world even here in the US were we are suppose to be better but really alot of us just turn a blind eye to what is going on in the world. This is the best thing that has happened I have always gave even though I don't have very much.

It is great that raised the money to help the children. As a world, we need to do more then a donation show to truly make a difference. Changes need to be made in the government and economy and so many other areas to truly make the change that we want. It is great that the celebrities did come out and Hugh was funny as usual!

I don't think he was acting like his character at all. He was funny, cute, amusing and had an British accent to die for.
