What did you think about the Sanjaya comments?

I have to say I was a little appaled by the comments made about him tonight. There was at least three or four comments about him from various people, it seemed like he was the joke of the show. I know that must have been very embarrassing for him. He's gone and I think they should just let it die. What do you think?

i was rather glad to see the stabs at him. He didnt deserve to stay as long as he did. There were alot better singers that got the boot when it should of been him leaving. So i am rather glad at the jokes, including Simons comment that Jack Black was better !

The only reason Sanjaya stayed as long as he did was because Howard Stern and his fans made Sanjaya look stupid, because he premoted the site Vote for the Worst
and thats the only reason he stayed. Because he is the worst this year.

It seems as though he has tough skin and can take the jokes but the insults really do need to stop. It was not his fault he stayed that long on the show so we stop treating him like crap. Simon is just a pompous Brit who thinks he knows all and doesn't care about anyone but himself. He is the poster boy of the typical American, which makes him so popular here. It is funny when someone says one little thing about him he starts to get defensive and cry like a little baby. He can dish it out but certainly can't take it. It just needs to stop.

I agree, I think it's time to let it go. If they insist on making fun of somebody it should be Howard Stern.
