last night i went to my student's home to help him english.i found the boy even did not know the basic knowlege of english. so i had to teach him the abc of english.for example,there ar e three types of be,respectively am ,is ,are. and am is after I,are is after you or they.he/she/it is followed by is.i waste much time to make him understand what i say. exausted!

If his basis of english is so low, I guess you gave him too much at one time. As you're an expert of english now you might find that's so easy. but for a person who is not liguistically talented, don't expect him to accept the simple knowledge at one stroke.

yes,you are very right.i will remember that and i will not teach him more next time.thank you for your advice.i will not expect him to accept the simple knowledge at one stroke.
