I went to Rome twice already and still want to go back to visit again. I've been to the most famous places in the city, but would also like to visit other landmarks, any suggestions?

san clemente basillica is well worth a visit, it seems to be off the normal tourist path. There are Byzantine mosaics and excavations which have revealed an early christian church and a small temple to mithras.

The Piazza del Popolo is wonderful. Me & my family went on New Year's Day, and there were performers, games, shows, it was wonderful! The weather was also very nice, and it wasn't too busy.

I'm absolutely fascinated with the Coliseum, and though I'm not a big fan of art museums, the Sistine Chapel is magnificent. Additionally, though I'm not an overly religious person, nor am I Catholic, my favorite part of Rome was actually the Vatican City inlet. I loved seeing the Pope, walking through St. Peter's Basilica, et al. All in all, I can't wait until I go back to Rome!
