Why Me???

Do you ever ask yourself or even God when you are going through something hard in your life and just don't understand why in the world it's happening to you? I am one who believes that everything in life happens for a reason. So I don't ask God ever, why me God. I've been going through some personal things in my life right now and I see others around me getting mad at God and seem to be confused as to why things are going the way they are. I always have faith in God and know that no matter how bad things look He is going to get me through it and in the end things will get better. How do you handle tough or even terrible situations that you go through in your life? Do you blame God, ask yourself why am I going through this, or do you think things happen for a reason, or how do you believe?

I never ask why me. And believe me there have been some pretty tough times where Ive could have said that. But I dont think its god fault at all. We make our lives and we must deal with them in our own way. I dont like when I hear people saying Oh why God? I think its a cop out. No matter what I try to have faith and I never give up.

You are right, it is not God's fault. We are the one's that make choices in our lives, some we have no control over but God knows what he's doing and when we keep the faith and don't give up he get's us through it and than we see in the end why we went through it. Thanks for responding:)

to be honest with you...i've been asking GOD that question for a very long time now..since i had this illness you know..rheumatoid arthritis..since then life has been really hard for me..but im not blaming GOD..I DO NOT HATE HIM..same as you,i believe that HE has a reason for giving me this challenge..all of us had bad times and we came to a point of asking the same question but then we'll come to realize that GOD IS STILL GOOD..like me..i realize that i'm still lucky being alive and having family and friends to support me all throughout my medication..and i'm grateful for all HIS blessings!!i have accepted that HE has other plans for me..and thatHE'll be always by myside..

My answer to that is: "Why Not Me?"
Since I am HERE, and stuff is happening everywhere, including some very good stuff, I might add, why not me?
I feel that I am equipped and funded fully by Nature, God and Goddess, to handle darn near everything that can and will happen to me or for me... and that just the way it is!
The way I SEE it... My Mind Leads My Body, and My Spirit Leads My Mind and it's for certain that a Mind whose Thoughts are operating at their most Positive...
Will Generate the Best Of Your Emotions and Their Intelligence, taking care of Pains that one will face as well as the Joys, Triumps (That's a Triple Win, in case you didn't know) and Victories that are sure to be...
Make Yourself and your Life BIG! Be Strong by using The Strength that you already have and all will go well for Thee...
This is a great discussion, and my answer doesn't point to any philosophy or religion. I am a simple Human Being that loves to do Great Things for himself and his Friends... nothing more! :)
Please enjoy the following movie, you have to sign up to see it, but it's free and powerful, and you don't have to spend a dime...

May Blessings Abound For Thee! :)

I have asked God "why are you putting me through all of this?" I know that he has the best answers for me though..and I usually stop and realize this.
There is a saying that God will only give you what you can handle...but there are times that I just want to put up the white flag and say, enough already!

Lol, that is so true, sometimes it feels like it's just TOO much to handle. I know what you mean. That's why I always pray and pray for more patience and strength in those times cause it feels like it is just too much. Thanks for your response:)

I don't think I would have made it this far in life without my faith in God. His grace is sufficient. I don't ask "why me?" because I see it as being the same as asking, "why not someone else?" and I don't wish problems on anyone. Things haven't been easy here lately either, but I know God will see us through. Best wishes with your current struggles and God Bless.

Well,
In April on 2006, I was diagnosed with M.S. when my twins were 5 months old. I was very dizzy and did not know why until I went to my neurologist in May 2006.
I have relapse/remisson M.S. and I take an injection each night of amino acids to heal the lesions on my brain.
No, I never blamed God for my auto immune disease, instead, I praise Him for allowing me to still walk, talk and hold my babies and my hubby each day. But, I do find fault in our government because I believe they created this disease to impair their citizens. I believe they are doing their best to reduce our population, it is also called Population Control or Population Reduction.
They, our government leaders, are the survival of the fittest. And, the ones, like me, who have a weak immune system will die early than I had anticipated.
But, no, I do not blame God for anything. I believe HE and HE alone is healing me. In Jesus' Name. Amen!

Alot of times it does seem so bad like nothing will ever get better. God will never ever leave us alone in our time of need. Remember in the bible when the Lord said to have the faith of a mustard seed, "And the Lord said, 'If you had faith like a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, "Be uprooted and be planted in the sea"; and it would obey you.'"Luke 17:5-6 All we need is just a little bit of faith, nothing is too impossible for God, for us yes, seems like nothing gets better, but with God and our faith in him, "we can move mountains", as this bible verse says, Mark 11:22-23
"Have faith in God," Jesus answered. "I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.
Of course, we literally are not gonna pray for that, but the Lord sees our heartaches and sorrows, all we have to do is call out to him and ask him to help us through it, I will keep you in my prayers icequeen, God Bless You and don't give up!

some times ...i ask this ..why i always ??? ...why not other s ......i think it is a natural feeling when something goes wronge with you or you think that it is really worse and god have done something wronge with only you ....!!
well it might be a wronge thing blaming God. ....basically facts are that we are responsible for what we are doing ..nobody else ....not even God is responsibel for all this .....what happens to us ...and what dont happend to us ..depends on our doings. ....!!
we should take care to our selves !!! and all things will go absolutely right !!

Yes, you are absolutely right. It is natural to feel this way when something goes wrong, but than we have to realize, just like you said, we are responsible for what happens to us, not God or anyone else. Thanks for responding:)

I do believe in God but do look for answers when I am going through a hard time and wondering what I did wrong to deserve something like this to happen .
I miscarried three babies and always thought I was a good mom but when I was told that I would never conceive again I did question what I was doing wrong in my life and looked to God to help me with the answers , I witnessed children around me having babies and others on the news that would give birth and leave their babies to die behind garbage bins and chouldn't help but feel that somehow I must have done something horribly wrong in the eyes of God to not have my wish granted when others who could so quickly throw such a gift away .
I am not one that believes everything happens for a reason . I believe that things that happen to us are predestined to happen before they do and if we had some knowledge of this we would be able to change the final outcome but are not always lucky enough to see the signs .
I know we are not supposed to judge God or blame him but have to admit that when I am going through a hard time , I feel like I am someone that was forgotten in a big world .

I can understand your reason, oh of course for having questions, or wondering why. I'm sorry for your losses, I know I can never understand your pain, but you are never forgotten. Just like you said, sometimes we are not always able to understand why, but there is a reason for everything, at times I know you'd think what would be the reason. I will keep you in my prayers and pray that he continue to heal you and give you understanding and remember, you are never forgotten, God will never ever forget you. God Bless You:)

I do believe things happen for a reason. I don't blame God. He is in control at all times even if we don't know what the outcome is going to be. I had to resign from a job that I absolutely love because of a medical condition. I also am a believer that if one door shuts another one swings open. I had to do that today. I have been off work since the later part of March because of a bad back problem. That is all I have thought about. God didn't cause my problem but he will help me handle the situation.

I agree with you completely! Things do happen for a reason, and God knows us best... He will not let us go through situations that we cannot handle. We have to trust in Him. What we need to do is to pray, and ask for the gift of wisdom. The wisdom and the knowledge will lead us to the answers to our questions. Let us not rely only on our human capabilities. I have realized that no matter how smart on intelligent we are, no matter how physically strong we are, no matter how much money we have, without God's guidance and blessing in our lives, we cannot survive.

I totally agree with you too, lol. We really cannot get by in life without him. I know I surely couldn't! People these days are so angry with God and make their lives so much harder when all we gotta do is give it all to God and surrender and he will never leave us alone and will lead us through every situation we go through. Thanks for your response:)

God knows exactly what He is doing in our lives, He is in control. When I look back at what has happened in my life, I can see His wonderful Hand right there. I'm not the person I used to be and I'm not the person I need to be - yet. He's molding and making me into the image of His Dear Son, Jesus. How awesome to be in the Master's Hands and being shaped for His pleasure! Thank you for your question.

I agree with you; everything happens for a reason. But, not everything is caused by God-or by Satan. Sometimes we bring things on ourselves. Sometimes bad things happen to good people. However, you can trust God to see you through. Unfortunately, I've forgotten that a few times during my life...and regretted it.

Exactly, it's not always satan's fault, or caused by God. We do bring alot of those things on ourselves. Thankyou for responding:)

No, I don't ever blame God for anything. My thinking is somewhat inspired by 'GITA' the hindu holy book, which says that 'God gives everything according to your karma[deeds]'. There is a kind of accounts that God keeps. If you are in bad times now, don't get irritated or blame others, find some solution and keep your mind away from tensions as much as possible. You are right that God is very kind and you will be out of all those difficulties soon.

Well I respect your answer, although I myself don't believe that God gives everything just by your good deeds. I do believe he will bless us for our good deeds but it takes more than just good deeds to get through life. I agree, we shoudn't blame others in our bad times, we make our choices and nobody makes us make those choices. Thanks for responding:)

I do ask many questions to God. And i even get mad on everything and lost all my hopes and faith. But as i get matured, i realized what really life is. Sacrifices, pains, heartaches and also aour happiness and joy we feel. Everything happens for a reason. And sometimes, but all the time, your life reflects of the choices you made and choose.

no, it is not wise to blame anyone for anything undesirable that happens. what i'd do will be to analyze things why and how this thing happens. then i will pray and ask for God's help. only God can show us how to deal with our problems properly in order for us to come up with the right solution. yes, there is a solution for all the problesm which we get to have.

i admit that i ask god things that should have put to faith. its not that i dont believe in god, but there are times that when you are feeling so low that you feel that god neglected you and you tend do blame god for everything worse that happened. well, that is how i feel whenever im low. i guess i need to put more faith to god.

back when i didn't understand god as much everytime something went wrong or didn't go my way i was real quick to blame him or question him, i used to get angry with him and question my belief but its funny no matter how much i did that he always set me straight, i always ended up either meeting someone, just a passer by and sometimes the things people would say just snapped me back and made me check myself for the way i was with god, i know its wierd but i feel like i was always getting signs from god especially when i was quesitioning him, well now i am such a strong believer and i have grown in my relationship with god and one thing ihave learned is to never question him everything you go through in your life serves a purpose, like its said if god brought you to it he will get you through it
