I used to. I don't anymore. And I can't believe the difference. Now when I come back in from smoking...I can hardly stand the smell. Isn't that terrible? lol My mother smokes in her home and I'm telling ya that the walls are so yellow they look like they were painted that way. EVERYTHING is covered in yellow stuff. Her pictures, her fridge, her curtains and blinds...it's gross! Do you smoke inside your house? What are your feelings on it?

I'm a smoker, have been since I started college. I still live with my parents, so I don't smoke in the house. It's not that I don't want them to find out, they already know that I smoke. I just don't want them to see me smoking even if they know about it. And I have about three younger siblings in my house, so I don't want them to see me smoking either. My mom is also a smoker When it's the school year, I stay at this dorm that's located near our school. The rules there are pretty much relaxed. There are lots of rules, but nobody follows them. I would often smoke there, but not inside my room, since the smell would tend to stick to everything. I would smoke outside the dorm, in open air.

About my Mom, i meant to say that she's also a smoker and she smokes at home, and doesn't seem to be bothered about us seeing her smoke. We don't really think about it that much, we've already gotten used to it. But she would often smoke far away from her children, so we wouldn't get the second-hand smoke or anything since it's very unhealty for other people.

No I don't and never smoke in my entire life. And I don't allow anyone to smoke inside my house for I have my kids to protect. When someone smoke in the neighborhood or in public places, I'm holding my breath till I'm far from that guy smoking. I dislikes people who is smoking for they're destroying their life, making it shorter.

Im a smoker, but I never smoke inside. I have seen what it has done to houses. It was puterid. I never smoke in the car either. It stinks and you can never get rid of the smell. I dont care if it snowing (not that it does here) but I will still go outside to have a smoke.

I never smoke. The only smoker in my house is my dad. And he never smoke inside, he always smoke on terrace or open-area. Maybe it because his habit. He can't smoke when there was not a lot of air. Congratulations to you, Stephanie5! You are free from smoking now. It hard to stop smoking, I understand that because I saw my dad trying and failed. If you able to stop smoking, you are great !

The difference is incredible. No smoking period, for me. I cannot handle the smell, since I can tell from 5 feet away when someone has been smoking. Once you get free of the smokey environment, you discover how gross(your words) it really is. There is no way that I know of to cleanse a home that has been crudded up with smoke residue.

I have no objection to people smoking if thats what they want to do. However i do not allow anyone to smoke in my home or in my car or in fact anywhere around me. I too have a right to breath clean air just like smokers have the right to breath polluted air. So to answer your question no one is allowed to smoke around me no matter where I am.

in china they do. In Australia it is a definite no-no. In fact, there is a law for it - no smoking in closed public spaces. Even before the law we used to have courtesy in smoking outside - many of my friends who smoke only smoke outside - whenever they want to smoke they will automatically just go outside and light up. It is common courtesy here.

Neither of us smoke, and we don't allow anyone to smoke in our house. DH and SS have asthma and it's so bad. We have a friend whose dad smoked like a chimney and his place was so disgusting! I can't imagine living like that. I get sick just being around a smoker because of how the smell gets in their hair and clothes.

Being that neither I or my husband have ever smoked, we do not allow smoking in our home. It is important to us that our home remain smoke free at all times. Both of us are allergic to the smell and we do not like the way it makes the walls and furninture stain. We are fortunate that they people we know who smoke are considerate and go outdoors, but if they didn't, we would ask them to. Great topic!
