How long could you?

Do I have a shelter? Do I have things like a fishing pole? I think I could live for a long time. I would build some type of shelter from downed wood. I could fish in the creek. Ride the horse to town trade him for garden seeds and a shovel and hoe and some chickens. Maybe buy a pig. I'd hitch hike back home and and live off my eggs and fish until the garden was producing.I think It would be fun to try this.

Surviving can be done. I have a lady that lives across the field from me, she didn't have any electric, no heat, no water, no food, no phone, no money and survived eleven degrees of weather this past Winter. But she did have help from me, my daughter, one Church and a few others. But I really don't see how she did get by in this situation.

It would be tough to say the least, and I'd probably really hate it. But I could do it. It would mean gathering alot of my survival instincts. I would probably panic at first though and wonder what would happen to me. Then, I think I would pull it together and make the best of it. There is nothing like foraging in the woods for food, or that nice cool creek to bathe in first thing in the morning. Hmmm, it's an interesting scenerio to say the least my friend. Good topic. I wonder how many out here in myLotland could actually survive?

There was an age when there was no electricity, no markets, nothing. Still people used to live life comfortably. If i was to born at that time i would have lived life comfortably as well.

As for me , I can live without electrical supply ,faster mode of transport or department stores. Learn to live as life comes to you..it is a very basic thing in life.Take life as it comes !!!

Hello,littlefranciscan, I think I can only live without electritcity for one day,without electricity ,i cannot do abythign at the night time, i cannot switch my computer on,I could not write on mylot.lol. I may be able to survive without a vehicle but i cannot survive without spermarket as i need to have grocery shopping regularly. How about you?
