What is the cost of Gas Where you live.

I go to work and home and thats about it. I rarely get gas since its about 5 miles from home to work. I got gas today and it cost me 40 dollars to fill up my tank. The Price of gas is 2.86 a gallon. My Jaw dropped when I got gas, I didn't realize the cost of gas had gone up so much. I was just curoius what the cost of Gas is in your area per gallon?

Too High! LOL! I just filled up my tank today and it was 2.94. It is absurd what the gas prices are at. Where abouts do you live? I live on the east coast of Florida.

Im in south Georgia, about an hour from Jacksonville. I was curious ho much they were down there.

I am about 3 hours south of Jacksonville. The prices are just crazy down here. I have always been told that gas has always been cheaper in Georgia. Lucky you! But right now I don't think any of us are lucky!

Gas here is about $2.82 a gallon. Wayy to much for gas.

I just drove by the gas station on the way home from Walmart, and it was at 3.29 a gallon. I swear they are trying to rob us blind. I can't imagine being in the UK though. I still think with the profits that Chevron posted, we should all boycott Chevron products, in an attempt for them to lower their cost per gallon...heck with 4.7 billion in first quarter profits they can afford it.

3.29 a gallon!!! I thought ours at 2.94 was high. My gosh what state do you live in so that way I make sure I don't have to travel there. LOL!

I agree about the boycott but its impossible to get a boycaott started maybe we could have a little luck here on mylot

It's 2.86 a gallon here as well. The gas prices are outrageous. I know that in Eruope, and other places, it is higher, however, I would wager that those folks don't drive as much in a week as we do here in the U. S. Our states are bigger than most of their countries and we are so spread out here. It is waaaaay overpriced. The oil companies are making billions of dollars in profits... We should stop complaining so much and just do something about it. Not sure what, but we should.
