I think some of my friends are LEAVING MYLOT..

Recently, I have noticed that some of my mylot frends are no longer visiting this site - for a very long time now. I no longer see their replies and I also think the number of their posts isn't increasing. I am very sad about this because these friends of mine post with good quality everytime I start a discussion.
I really wish they never really left. I hope they just had a some sort of 'vacation'.
You? Do you have mylot friends who left for certain reasons?
How do you feel about their absence?

Maybe they just have a lot jobs to do recently.So they haven't leisure time to visit here,i guess.Don't sad.There are still many visitors here who posted many good quality discussions and replies here every moment,aren't there?And you still have many friends here.

this is a good observation that you have given. i hope that most of them have ceased from mylot simply becasue, they are indeed on vacation. at least that will be a lighter thought than dwelling with the idea that they have left us for good.

this happens so much, but i think in a site this size its inevitable. Im sure with over 80,000 members there has to be a good proportion inactive at any one time or its unlikely any of us would get paid

i have noticed, too, that some of mylot friends are no longer around. i gathered that some have stopped for some reasons, but a number of them have transferred to other sites where they can earn more. whatever their reasons for leaving may be, we can't blame them. we all have our own roads to keep on treading.

You can cross me out of your list of friends who 'left' mylot. I have been not very active for the past weeks because of job commitments and travels. I may go on like this until the peak season ends this June. So don't despair my friend, I love this site and you may see me now and you won't again in the next few days but it doesn't mean I have left mylot for good.

Well that's good - I really would 'cross you out' on that list of maybe 10 or 11 mylotters. Now I understand that aside from the 'vacation' which I am talking about, job commitments could also 'block' some mylotters to concentrate here. Nevertheless, I'm happy that you're back!

No, i daont have so many mylot friends. They are more like people i have added as my freinds for no real reason. I havent talked to anyone of them. Apart from a few. Who are quite active here on mylot. If your friends are leaving mylot, the you should persuade them not to. Because if they are good people, then mylot really needs them.

Well, the sad thing is, I haven't got any other contact with them except mylot. The friends which I am actually talking about are just friends in forum so even though I would really want to persuade them, I just cant.
So the only thing left for me is wait until they pop up again - if they're still interested.

yup. i do believe that "people come and people go". it's their choice to stay or not. and we have to respect whatever choice they make.
i do have friends who are long gone, too. but i keep on hoping that one day, they'll come back and atleast say hi or tell us how they are doing.
whatever reasons they have for being away, i hope they are happy and doing well.

I dont think so but if they would be leaving mylot i will miss them.I am been busy this past few weeks or month because i do have my problems at home and i cannot give time here on mylot.But i am back now and i would like to post and respond more discussion as i can.

I think a lot of people just come and go, they may move on with their life and no longer login to mylot if they are too busy or think that it pays too little..
I'm away most of the time myself and not as active as I was last month when I first joined mylot, but still I'm not abandoning it and will always come back although I may never be as active as I was before.

Oh that's a sad news.. U talked to your friends .. pm'd them to know the reason that why they are not online here on mylot ?? Just talk to them to know the reason .. might be they are busy somewhere or some other problem .. you can also try out to add some new friends into your list in the meantime :)

I've discovered over the years that people are absent from various activities for all kinds of reasons. Maybe they have found jobs that pay them better than sitting infront of the computer all day, maybe they are having family issues, who knows? I wouldn't take it personally. Just be thankful that a lot of people are responding to discussions everywhere. I don't get too hung up on who responds and who doesn't, just as long as I'm getting responses.

i have noticed about 60 of my friends are no longer active on mylot lately. maybe they are too busy in their life outside of the internet. i hope to see them back here very soon though as i miss seeing their discussions and great responses they gave me on my discussions in the past
