Do you hug others?

How do you hug?warm and close?away and stiff? What kind of hugger are you? Do you really hug...hold the person close...? Do you hug everybody or only some special people? Do you hug to comfort? Is it a lame jesture or heartfelt? Do you have someone you don't like to hug? Why? How do you feel when someone you don't know hugs you when meeting you? I love to hug everybody but with my illness I have high tactile responses which means it hurts to have any pressure to my skin.Hugs sometimes hurt and I never know how hard someone will hug me so I often avoid them. The people that know me give me gentle hugs..But at the same time I hate when someone hugs me stiffly and hold themselves back like they don't want to hug me at all? I hug to comfort others.I like to wrap them up in the love of my arms and make the hurt go away. Are you a hugger? What kind are you?

I hug several people, but mainly only people I know well enough, and I hug warm and close, with most. I don't have any aversions to hugging particular people. I'm similar to you when somebody is hurting... I give them a really long, close hug, wrapping them in my love and warmth. Sometimes I need a hug like that from others, too. :-) Hugs are the most healing things ever! Brightest Blessing and hugggggggggggggs to you, Raydene. :-)

Yes, the huggs are healing. At Reiki they use them a lot as way to give a positive and healing energy each other. To touch, to hug and to smile often can help a lot to the suffering or sad person. or just to give a energy push :-)

Awwwwwww, thank you Raydene. I feel much the same way... Gabs radiates love wherever she goes, and yes, we hugged when we met, and when we parted. I'm really glad to be a part of this wonderful circle of friends. Another hugggggg to you Raydene and to all my friends in the Mylot Community, absent and present. I love you all. Hugggggggggs. :-)

I am a hugger. Here is a story frow way back ... one of my sons were being bullied by a neighborhood kid. I watched from the window for a while. Than I went outside to talk to them. My son watched in horror when I reached over and hugged the bully. Years later, the tow boys became best friends and was even best man at my sons wedding. The often laugh about the moment I hugged him.

No, i am not a cuddle person.May be this is a problem-to hug is a good way to show your warm feelings. I saw a clip some days ago "Free hugg campaign" :a young man at the street holds a poster:Free huggs and hugs the people what come arround. Most of them first were shocked. At the end of the clip all at the street hug and smile each to other :-)

I basically grew up in a family where hugging, showing of affection and expressing of our emotions were considered a taboo. That's why my siblings and I were so thirsty of having those little show of affection from others. I promised myself then, that I will not pass on this practice to my little ones. I'm a big hugger. For close friends, I will hug them like I haven't seen them for years. For my little ones, I will hug them every seconds of our waking hours. It is my way of showing them my unconditional love to them.

i hug people all the time. especially my nieces coz i love them to bits! but i rarely hug people who i just met..coz it will be somewhat awkward to do that. however, my mom's friends like to hug me when they meet me. they just grab me & hug me. i also usually hug peopl in their need of comforting.. i like to hug people best when im hugging special people e.g family, close friends, love ones.. huggings are good, cos it can make the other person feel like they are wanted & cared for. i encourage everybody to do it!

I will give a stranger a hug if it was truly needed, although I don't make it a habit to hug people & the hug would be a lot different from the way I would hug my wife 2/be:-) ..... I would comfort just about anyone in their time of need.

I don't really hug everybody. I hug mostly people that I know... especially special person and elderly. I'll hug them tightly. Not so hard though, just enough to let them know I meant with the hugs, gift slight rub on the back, one hand on their shoulder and my other hand onder one of the armpit (depends on the person height however). I love hugging and kissing my husband and my daughter constanly everytime I have the chance.....

mom I love hugs! I would always be gentle with you - no way I'm gonna let you get hurt! The only people I don't like to hug are people who have really hurt or betrayed me at some time! I always hug close and tight and just like to show people that I care! xx

Thanks mom appreciate that! If they tried to turn me away again I think I would have a major league tantrum! I am a bit worried though as again I am not too nervous yet - maybe I am just trying not to get up to high dough for no reason lol ! xx

I am a hugger. I hug everyone, because I feel that hugs are good for you. Most people get good hugs, although there are a few that only get hugs as a formality. I do not discriminate in my hugging, strangers are also welcome. I often hug strangers along with my friends. I go to karaoke and go through the bar hugging all of my friends. When I walk in, I go from one table to the next hugging my friends. Sometimes I will see a table of strangers looking at me as if they are wondering whether I will be to their table next, and sometimes I do visit their table. When I approach their table, often they will reach out to me! I love it when this happens.

i like to give my mum and my best friends warm and close hugs. And when i feel depressed i expect they would give me hugs to comfort me. in our country we don't have the habbit to hug stranger when we meet for the first times. So i'd never meet the trouble that you have.

1.How do you hug? warm and close. 2.What kind of a hugger are you? I hug with love. 3.Do you hug everybody or only someone special? Someone special. 4.Do you hug to comfort? Of course. 5.Is it a lame gesture of heartfelt. Definatley heartfelt. What would be the point of hugging? 6.Do you have someone you don't like to hug? Fake people, because they don't deserve it. 7.How do you feel when someone you don't know hugs you? Weird I love hugs. I could be having the worst day but when someone i love hugs me it's like they take it all away. I hope i do the same for others.
