I was sent an IM from a new member today asking how to earn maximum money here on mylot. I gave my personal advice but was wondering what everyone else would have suggested.
Are you here on mylot for the money or the community?
Have you learnt anything new or useful whilst here?
How would you rate mylot as a site?

Hello again :)
I can see that both of us has slowed down a lot since last month, I'm no longer trying to maximize my earning but found myself in the same situation again trying to reach minimum payout before the end of the month, what I achieved in 15 days is hard to do again in 30 this time..
So I guess referrals is the only way to get much money in mylot but I still have non and not really trying, I guess the thrill of earning money and getting paid has gone and now I just enjoy mylot whenever I have the time for it and don't count posts and cents anymore.. :)
I would rate mylot as 8 out of 10, I would give it more if there wasn't so much abuse going around here from members.

Hello, Wildhorse!
I've had a few internet problems lately. But even now I'm back on again I find I have slowed down alot.
I too have noticed the huge amount of abuse and misuse going on here. But I guess you would get that anywere.
Good luck!

It's real hard to earn money on mylot. I think it's easy to make 3 $ or so on mylot but we need more referals to get some big money. Ask him to make some real good friends and find as many as referals as possible. I was on mylot to earn but now enjoy it more as I hav very good friends here like you. I have lerant lot about different communties and countries through mylot. I would rate 8 out of 10 to mylot.

Yes I agree. It's hard with referrals. It is hard to convince people that mylot is genuine and not a scam site. Also referrals need to be active else they do not earn you anything.

Great question.
I think that people that cheat on myLot are the ones that are in it for the money. I will admit...yes I am also partly here for the money, but I do not cheat, or do anything wrong here. I think that money is the bonus!
Sure, I wouldn't be on here as much if it wasn't for the money...but responding to others discussions have made me a better typer, and better at writing!!
I am thankful that somethings have changed while I have been on myLot! I do spend a lot of time on myLot, and I enjoy being here. I like responding to others discussions, being, and expressing myself! I think that since myLot is such a growing site, and doesn't cheat you of all your time spent here....I would rate myLot as a great, rising site to be yourself!! :)

I guess I am on My Lot for both money & the community. There is no way I would be on My Lot for just the money, as we don't anywhere near enough.
I enjoy it a lot.
The only suggestions I could make to increas earnings, is to post quality discussions, with a photo & link if possible.
Also, respond as often as you can with well thought out replies.
Also you can upload your own photos under the your interests catergory.

well i have joined mylot community for the money of course. money seems to be the biggest incentive around here. well i have found out people's opinions on different topics. its sometimes useful and sometimes just time-pass. well i would rate it 9 out of 10.

Thank you for your opinion. I personally feel that whilst the incentive of money is what encourages people to sign up, it is not enough to keep us here. I have met some amazing and unique personalities on here. The money earnt is more of a bonus.

mummyofthree,
I am not sure if this business concept is sustainable, but if it is, it would be great. I am sure that it is in everyones interest to participate in order to contribute to the community as well as earn money.
