Same story here, we still have the funny eps here. It's a shame if that factor will go away, scrubs was nice for it not being that serious at all. But I guess it had to compete more with the other hospital oriented series.

I think it's almost to the point where it's not funny anymore. The last few episodes have been more depressing than funny. I want the old scrubs back.

Exactly how I feel!!
Btw I meant to say "I've watched about 6 episodes from the current scrubs SERIES and it's much more serious than the old ones:("
and the title was meant to say "Do you think the new SERIES is too serious?"

It could be better. I think that since everyone is pregnant, and or having a baby, they're getting away from the funny aspect, and getting into the serious aspect. It's too serious to be a funny show, but, it's not that bad. A serious show can be nice once in a while. Since I've watched every episode so many times, I feel almost a personal conncetion with the characters. I feel sorry for J.D, and all his hardships. But, for the most part, It's not as funny, and way more serious.

I kind of get what you're saying, I know this was 3 years ago, but now during the 2009 - 2010 season this new interns thing, there is some really serious moments, but there's still a mix of humor. but i do think earlier seasons were more comedy-based
