Do You Think Gilchrist's Century Was The Best In The World Cup 2007??

Well even i saw the entire match and i think gilcrist played any innings of his life time and i think atleast not for a couple of world cup finals we shall see an innings of this caliber and even gilchrist must have not thought he could play such an innings and i would say it was gilcrist innings which made the difference in yesterdays match and if he had not played such an innings i think it would have been an intresting contest kudos to that aussie for this inninigs it is the one which an cricket fan will cherish for a long long time

Adom Gilchrist is one of tje amazing player for me in cricket. his ininng was the most importent inning for australia for victroy.gilchrist showed his class in most presured world cup final. the best player is one who asume presure and play like that. he is the real hero for austarlia.

Yes definately.. Gilli was the major difference between the two sides... He just played a superb match-winning innings... Moreover to score over 140 runs in 100 balls was really incredible, as u might have noticed that almost each and every player struggled to score run a ball, including the dashing allrounder Andrew Symonds, and the skipper Ricky Ponting... It was not at all easy to score run a ball on that ground... And this man made it look so easy to everybody.. He was just smashing all over the park... His innings was indeed the best of his life... What a way to get century in the World Cup finals!!! He deserves to be titled as the best Wicket Keeper batsman in the whole world...

I think it was Gilchrist who was the difference in both teams.he has done havoc with lanakan Bowlers and all of tem were so helpless to see him out of ground. Surly it was his peak performance in the world cup final.Australia must feel proud on the Adams performances. Still lot to see in future!!!!!

After seeing every other batsmen struggling to dominate ...i will rate his performance THE MOMENT for Australia in the Finals....KUDOS to GILLY

it was way too early in the morning so i didn't get to watch too much of it, but yes, i think his century was the best in this tournament - because it is in the final. I just hope they can show the game again, soon!

Gilchrist certainly played like a champion a truly great knock that too in a world cup final what more could one ask for. His knock singehandly took the game away from sri lankans and helped aussies dominate the match and win it very comfortably. And to consider that Gilly was not at his best throughout the tournament until final shows the stuff Gily is made for, as he like other aussies rise to occasion and deliver when it matters the most.

Well, I did not catch that game at all. So, I will have to take your words for it.
