Ok... we've done hula hoops... now, on to the trampolene.
My grandkids have one in the garden, and if it wasn't for the fear of breaking it, I would be on it every week, when I go up there. I love trampolenes, but this one isn't really high enough or strong enough for me.
My sister is good on them... she can do all sorts of acrobatic moves in the air... or she used to. She even won certificates in her late school days.
Apart from the enjoyment, the trampolene keeps you well fit. Do you partake? Do your kids have one? If you do partake, where do you go to use a trampolene... your local gym, or a sports club? Let's hear your experiences.

Ohhhhhhhh, how lucky is your sister? I have slight knee problems as well, but I think with constant effort, that will strengthen and it would help a lot.
Geeee, this green tea makes you high, after a week!!! lol. I think I'll have to get some more when it runs out! :-)
Thank you for your response and Brightest Blessings, love and hugs, Mummymo. x

Trampolines are so fun, even for an adult. Kids just love the idea of jumping really high. But they seem to forget that they still can get hurt.

Hi Silv! I agree trampolines really are great fun for adults and kids alike, but when the kids get hurt, they're basically going through the learning process. It's not so different from riding a bike, or a skateboard when it comes to tumbles and if they stick to the indicated spot and don't travel, the should fare ok. Their bones are so much more flexible than ours anyway and the exercise is brilliant for them.
Thank you for your response and Brightest Blessings.

Oh Darkwing I am quite sure that you would not break the trampolene lol!! My youngest daughter was always great on the trampolene as she used to do a lot of gymnastics when she was in high school and won a lot of their championships!! oh no I do not partake these days but used to when I was younger. My kids have grown up now but they always had one when they were much younger. When I was young I used to have one in the backyard.

You're as young as you feel, Kathy. My kids are grown to but sometimes I want to do things such as this so badly, that nothing can hold me back! lol.
I'll bet your daughter who won championships can't leave the trampolene alone either... just like my sister. lol.
Thank you for your response and brightest blessings.

Hi darkwing! I love stuff like trampolenes, although tend to get black eyes if I've on them for too long.. if you catch my drift lol! My friend hired a bouncy castle last year for her kids birthday party and you couldn't get me off there - no literally I was laughing so hard I couldn't get off and the kids kept bouncing me around, they thought it was soooo funny, well so did I too - it was such good fun! I don't think I would go trampolening in public, but if my friends kids have one, then I'm happy to get on for a quick jump around lol! Brightest Blessings!

Yes, I know what you mean about the black eyes. ROFL.
You'll have to tape them down, that's all, my friend, like Barbara Windsor used to. ha ha ha
Thank you for your response. I'm glad you still have fun on trampolines. There's nothing much better for exercise. Brightest Blessings, my friend.

I used to use a trampoline before my disabilities set in. They are a great source of excersize. I would reccomend that you give it a go! You will be suprised how strong they are! After all they have to take a lot of preasure from people jumping up and down on them.

True, but some are too close to the ground, and i just know I'm gonna break a leg... not in the actress' way, either. lol.
I need the higher one and may even search out a place to go, even if I have to pay. Maybe the local Sports Centre has them. I have a friend and a niece who work there, so I can soon find out. I've got a bit of a bee in my bonnet at the moment... must be the green tea!!! ha ha ha
Thank you for your response and Brightest Blessings.

I used to like the trampolene when I was in lower secondary. We had physical education and it was different activity at each term. One term we had gynamstics. It was scary but fun on the trampolene. I like the feeling of "hanging" in the air. Now, I am too heavy to be on the trampolene :P
