FF7 on PS3?

Its is unlikely that they will actually reake the whole game for the ps3, the small part they redid was just to show off the capabilities of the ps3, it was only a tech demo But the amount of time and money it would take to remake it would be easier used to make a new ff game (because people would expect more from a remade ff7)

i hope they will. it will make my reason to choose ps3 stronger.

I think they will. It would be amazing to compare the old playstation graphics of the first ff7 to a new ff7 with todays graphics.

It would be awesome if they were to do that, but I don't think they will because the PS3 isn't selling as well as they project so they may lose more money than they would gain. I heard rumors they would make it for PS3 but because of how the PS3's sales are, they said they were gonna drop it.

It would be great if square made a remake of ff7 in the PS3 but for us here in the philippines having a PS3 is rather hard because of the price,plus the game itself im sure will have a high price tag.

sad to say i heard square unix will not be making a remake of the game on ps3 :( the video most of you have seen is a demo video just to look special...

If they make the remake it would be fantastic. But they would have to make the remake of all Final Fantasy. Now that would be something! But it is very difficult to happen. They prefer to spend money in making new games and not on remaking old ones. And I can understand that. But I would really enjoy playing final fantasy VII again!

I sure hope they will, although i have Dirge of cerberus too, its not all that bad.its just that...i suck at shooters :D. but all in all its a good game. i did see the tech demo of ff7 for ps3. i think that they ll have an enormous selling point if they were to remake it. i for one, would buy a ps3 for that.

if they do it will be the best selling point of ps3, but looking at things right now i'd hate to say this but the chances are less than 1% that they do. but at least there will be FF XIII on the PS3. i can't wait to play the game, too bad ps3 price i on the sky not to mention that i don't have a HD-TV. hiks.hiks...

i think ffxii is the best so far hope it comes on ps3 with better graphic
