I do it both. I like cramming. If I was not able to study the night before i will study in the morning when i get to school. But if I have time at night, I will review then . And when i arrive in the campus I will study again before the exams. It is better to refresh your mind before the exams. But what worked for me might not work for others.

I generally feel that if I've been paying attention and doing the course work all along I don't really need to study much. So I generally study a couple of evenings before a test, but I rarely stay up past 1. I find sleep more important in being ready than studying. In one class I had a friend who liked to study in the mornings before the test, and he would call and wake me up to study over breakfast. It was tough for me to get up early, but I found studying in the morning, with another person to be really effective. I'm not sure if it was the time change or the study partner that made the difference.

i can study both at night and day.if i feel distracted while studying during the day i take a nap and compensate that time by studying at night.i can never study at early morning because i like to sleep and its difficult for me to get up in the wee hours of the morning.at night, theres no one to disturb you so i feel its much better.
