celestemichelle Sometimes I buy new books from Amazon, but I almost never buy their used books, unless it's a really good deal on an expensive book, since the shipping cost brings up the price to almost what a paperback costs new.

celestemichelle I'm always barefoot at home or in my yard, or when I go to check the mail. I've even done short hikes barefoot before, especially the ones along creeks with a lot of river rocks. I'm just more comfortable without shoes. I'm still not up for walking in stores...

celestemichelle I love checking out used book stores in different towns, it's always surprising what you'll find. We just had a new second-hand shop open near me, but they don't have any books. :(

celestemichelle In my hometown the library was really good. There were only 2 in the county, so they were both pretty big, but where I live now, there are 5-6 libraries in town, but they're all very small so I get annoyed with the waiting lists, or having to request the books...
